Are we allowed to call Trump's regime fascism now?

Indeed, there's no changes. Republicans may say they're the only people that owns guns or shoots regularly, but gun ownership doesn't reflect party membership.
 
At this point I'm made there's not masked, faceless goons in the streets, blimps overhead, and some sort of televised ritualized deathmatch. I mean if you're gonna be this obviously fascist at least respect the traditions of it.

We better get one hell of a goddamn excellent prog-rock concept album out of all of this.

This is it! Now is the time Americans must show their mettle, or lose it all. Unfortunately, given the latest turn of events, I fully expect the local police to ally openly with Proud Boys at polling stations and essentially fix, or cancel, the election. We shall see, but things look dicey as hell.

These are the fruits of:
  • Attacking society and claiming the very social interdependence that civilization is grounded on does not exist. Reagan-Thatcher poisoned the ground for all but savagery.
  • Bush II normalized torture in Abu Ghraib and the US administration. The savages were given the clue that their methods are much loved.
  • Trump has extended torture and crimes against humanity to include refugees and American citizens by dehumanizing them. Savagery has been unleashed, the hordes are gunning for government officials.

No turning back if Trump wins. After 2020, it's a Biden presidency or a dystopian facist nightmare, with widespread civil unrest and violence.

Start with Pennsylvania, Florida and Wisconsin. A couple minutes of googling "GOP steal election <state>" should be all you need to find the measures they're taking, along with a lot of breathless left-wing reporting which seems to be the only ones taking it seriously right now.
 
Forgive us if after 4+ years of a constant stream of "Trump can't do that because if he tries someone will stop us... oh wait looks like he's got a toadie/yes man into the 'someone who was supposed to stop him' position" being repeated every 2 seconds we're not finding it particularly reassuring.

Especially since the Electoral College just up and going "LOL we don't care what the people want we're electing this guy because we know better" wouldn't be illegal or unconstitutional or indeed even against the "spirit" of the EC.

Biden is 6 points ahead in Penn and Wisconsin and 3 ahead in FL. Very few people are undecided and early voter turnout shows it will be a record year.

Even if Trump won those states by shenanigans he'd still only have 185 sure or sort of sure states. Give him TX, that's 40 more and it takes him to 225. He still has to win in multiple other states, meaning everything has to go right for him.

This is not 3 states, with a dozen Clinton Oct surprises.

The fatalists in this thread seem to be unable to break with past patterns. Trump won in 2016 by the skin of his teeth and significant propagandizing by Russian trolls and bots.


I'll tell you where the weak spot is here. This time the propaganda is targeting Hispanics. Listen to the messages: "Biden and the Democrats haven't said what they will do for us." Trump strategists are blasting this message out hoping they can keep Hispanics home or voting 3rd parties the way they kept blacks home in 2016.
If the Biden camp doesn't recognize what's going on here then there could be a problem. All the 'woe is us Trump's going to win' is a serious distraction.
