Just yesterday Trump was saying that Democrats want to kill new born babies, and today Trump is saying that Democrats want to shut down churches.

Therefore, I have wonder what outrageous lie Trump will tell tomorrow.

If they got that from weighing a bunch of different hypothetical scenarios, for example, then they gave too much weight to the extreme & bizarre hypotheticals and not enough to the ones that might actually happen.

It's supposed to be the probability of him winning in a month's time. The forecast for if the election were held today is much more in Joe Biden's favour. I suppose the Nov 3 forecast allows for expected narrowing of the poll gap between now and then and of course has to take account of the error bars in polling.

A 53/47 poll with 3% error bars could be 56/44 or it could be 50/50.

I can see President Trump having at least a 17% probability of winning if the races narrow considerably in the swing states in the next 4 weeks. If there's also a credible announcement of a vaccine, that could put a cherry on top.

Of course even if he appears to lose because he has fewer Electoral College votes, President Trump and the GOP will challenge the results in the courts claiming widespread electoral fraud. With the right set of judges and a compliant SCOTUS, they may be able to overturn enough votes.

I'm the board Cassandra. I still have President Trump's chance of holding onto office at around 50/50 with his chance of winning the popular vote at 0%. :(

Yes. It's harder to fix against a large vote, but the GOP is trying. They're not even pretending to conform to democratic norms anymore. With a bit of luck, maybe the gerrymandering in downticket elections might be swept away.

Democrats are shipping millions of dying illegal immigrants into the country. The Democrats will then round up Republicans, harvest their organs to give the illegals free life-saving transplants, and then make them citizens.

Here's what's really crazy about that: Nobody believes that stuff but the extreme religious right, and really just the uneducated rank-and-file of them. Their leaders know it's a lie; and they're the ones who fed it to Trump. And all of those people were already going to vote for Trump anyhow. Anyone who is even slightly aware knows it's bunk. I'd guess this stuff is more likely to harm his campaign than help it.

The absolutely best way this can pan out is Trump loses by a "can't pretend it didn't happen" but not huge margin and then he pitches this huge hissy fit about not conceding until all the mail in votes are counted... and then he loses by an even bigger margin.
