I've found this curious.
1. Supposedly, everyone that is in close proximity to Trump was antigen tested every day.
2. The first person with a positive antigen test was Hope Hicks who was then confirmed with a PCR test.
3. Trump took the antigen test which was positive.
4. Trump knew this but didn't disclose it to Hannity in a phone call to his show on Fox Thursday night. At the time he said he was awaiting his test results. However, he was awaiting the PCR confirmation test. Antigen tests have a high false negative but low false positive rate.
5. Numerous people at the debate have tested positive. Trump arrived too late to be tested.
Since then there have been many disclosures of people testing positive from the Rose Garden event on Saturday and debate prep/debate staff a few days later.
In spite of numerous questions, Trump, doctors, and other WH persons have declined to state when the last time Trump had tested negative.
Seems quite possible Trump was the superspreader. At least for the people at the debate and in debate prep.
Question is where did he get it?
Yes, good line of thought, and AP said that a reporter asked Trump if he is the superspreader. No answer, of course.
However, do any countries announce identities of superspreaders?
I would have thought they didn't.
