This is why if I was the Biden campaign I would be pointing out the number of people who died while Trump was in the hospital as well as the other COVID statistics. You can't let Trump and his gang make the narrative it's not deadly and harmful.

Has he? Or is he trying to make that the narrative? The point is that Biden can't let him. I knew this was going to be Trump's strategy. I'd say we are glad that Trump survived COVID, but lots of people don't. I'd contrast that team of doctors in their white lab coats with harried doctors in so many hospitals across the nation.

I'd point out that Trump couldn't protect Herman Cain. He couldn't even protect himself. And he certainly hasn't protected the country.

Jesus Christ, how ******* stupid are these people? It's easy to say "don't let it dominate your life," when you're pretending that lethality of the virus is the only consideration. But you can bet that when people who don't have the sort of access that Trump has to medical care, at no cost to him, end up with the disease, they will find their lives dominated for years to come by the medical bills that come with treating it. And that's before getting to the long-term effects of having had the disease, both physically and on your ability to get insurance; the GOP makes mouth-noises about protecting "pre-existing conditions," but noise is all it is, there's no actual plan at this point except to kill the one law that does really protect them.

And that's not to mention that it's not "dominating your life" to take simple and effective precautions to help prevent the spread the virus, like wearing a damn mask. I seem to remember a time a few months ago when the Trump administration made at least a feint in the direction of following what science recommended; that lasted all of about five minutes, and now the play is all political, damn the science, we can't send a message that inconveniences our followers the slightest little bit.

All it apparently takes to frame the stupid and sell it is a sample size of one President who hasn't died.
