I seem to remember a weekend in March where there was a great deal of panic. The Costco near me was in a near riot.

I literally got the last pack of 36 charmin off an abandoned cart. Waited in line for about an hour to pay. Looking back it’s silly but at the time it seemed reasonable.

It reminds me of early 2008, when AM radio raving lunatic Michael Savage was claiming that if Barack Obama won the election, California's cities would be destroyed by hordes of illegal immigrants robbing, raping, and murdering good and decent Americans.
