Another press conference going on right now. I watch a minute or two, then realized I'd get all the pertinent information later on during the news. Otherwise it's just a bunch of rants with very little new being said.

Who is telling us that our cities will be in flames and rioting and looting will happen under "Biden's America" when it's happening NOW? Who is telling us massive voter fraud will happen with mail in voting? Who is telling suburban women that low-income housing will “destroy your neighborhood and your American Dream.”?

If you think that it's the liberals who are driven by fear, then you live in an alternate universe.

:dl:

I'm pretty sure the party of fear mongering starts with an R not a D.

Yeah, I damn near spit my morning coffee all over my keyboard when I read that little gem!

Trump's 'press conference' was almost painful to watch. The man just spent the entire time ranting, raving and airing his usual grievances. He claimed the report in The Atlantic was entirely made and 'a hoax' (naturally). He attacked McCain, Biden, Obama, Clinton, Dems, went on and on about being spied on again, China, claimed he's against 'cancel culture' even though he engages in it on twitter, etc. He is obviously not in a good place mentally. He is running very scared.

Joe Biden's supporters are destroying communities across America. #BidenRiots

Too obvious, but... 'Biden riots' under your daddy's watch, boyo. Why's daddy not got control, sonny? 'Cause mebbe he's the underlying rot?

Its still hard to understand the disconnect and the way the media lets Trump get away with it.

Person X is hired to fill some position in the Trump administration.

Person X is fired for disagreeing with Trump/Breaking the law/expressing their true opinion of Trump.

Person X is then endlessly referred to by Trump as a loser/idiot/wacko.

At some point it would be nice if a reporter had the balls to ask Trump why he keeps getting fooled by these wackos into hiring them in the first place?

“Lordy, I hope there are tapes.”

But there are tapes, many of them. And there are many Tweets.

If the Democrats are smart, they'll make dozens of ads with Trump's unkept promises, his egging on violence, and his divisiveness,

I don't think the Veterans are better off, show that. And show Trump with his gold toilets claiming how good the stock market is, next to the unemployed and people not surviving. Show all those closed for good businesses.

Show those two people in scrubs holding off Trump supporters.

This stuff is marketing 101. It writes itself.

Yes, Trump holds a press conference and the media come running. I do believe they stopped showing the segment live, however, telling the TV audience they would report it if anything new comes up.

I hope they remember that and don't fall into the show every minute of Trump rut.

Someone did. He just went quiet and then (IIRC) moved on to the next question.

Someone did; he ignored the question (per people who saw the clip; I didn't). Don't know about balls. It was a woman.

In Colorado, we take double voting seriously and refer all suspected cases for legal enforcement. If it makes sense, I will include @realDonaldTrump in the referral for prosecution. He may not have presidential immunity anymore depending on the election.

If by standing up for them, Trump means deregulating their employers in ways that have caused a significant increase of outright worker deaths, before getting to everything else, then sure. That's not before even beginning to touch things on the COVID front, for that matter.
