I assume that Trump really believes that last sentence. He sees the whole problem as the rioting and he could "solve" that problem with overwhelming power.

But the protests are NOT the problem and cannot be "solved" with simple-minded efforts. But since the issues are complex and will take time and resources to address, Trump has no interest.

No, I read it correctly. Donny is trying to make it that the MSM is downplaying events significantly ("just a few riots"), and that his raging paranoia is actually well founded ("Soros/Gates has it in for me!!"). So he needs to decide: Is it paranoia, or is it just some local hoodlums.

According to the mainstream media, the riots & extreme violence are completely unorganized. However, it appears this coup attempt is led by a well funded network of anarchists trying to take down the President.

That's not saying what you're trying to claim it says. No indication towards "just a few riots." The MSM misleading part is in a completely different direction than that. Whoever actually tweeted that is clearly claiming that the MSM is misleading about how organized the violence is, not how much there is. The paranoia part, on the other hand, isn't directly contradicted by the tweet, it's just that the conflict that you're portraying him as claiming just isn't there.

Either way, this is simply some pretty classic projection of the sins of the right onto the left that right-wingers are much more likely to gobble up.

I wonder how I missed the Trumptwits bemoaning the actions of 17 year old Trump supporter Kyle Rittenhouse after he carried his rifle from Illinois to Kenosha, Wisconsin and murdered two protesters, wounding a third.

Nor did I see any Trumptwits eulogizing the dead and injured.

All I heard was a Trump campaign spokescretin assuring us that "This individual had nothing to do with our campaign."

I’ve been getting really good polls, some over 50%, except for one Fake Poll done by @ABC NEWS, which gives NO INFORMATION about the sample, R or D, or anything else. They did this last Election, with one week to go, down 12 points, and I won. They are disgusting Fake News!

Portland is a mess, and it has been for many years. If this joke of a mayor doesn’t clean it up, we will go in and do it for them!

The Radical Left Mayors & Governors of Cities where this crazy violence is taking place have lost control of their “Movement”. It wasn’t supposed to be like this, but the Anarchists & Agitators got carried away and don’t listen anymore - even forced Slow Joe out of basement!

If I didn’t INSIST on having the National Guard activate and go into Kenosha, Wisconsin, there would be no Kenosha right now. Also, there would have been great death and injury. I want to thank Law Enforcement and the National Guard. I will see you on Tuesday!

Only 37 percent said they plan to vote to re-elect Trump.

Yup... the Republicans (the party that has turned supporting the military into almost a religion) are trailing the Democrats among people currently serving in the armed forces.

Strange.... you think they would be happy to have a president who ignores Russian bounties on American soldiers, who diverts military funding to build a useless wall, and who has increased overseas deployments to places like the middle east (thanks to the Saudis willing to pay for it, turning American soldiers into mercenaries).

Questions in the poll had a margin of error of up to 2 percent.

Among all survey participants, 42 percent said they “strongly” disapprove of Trump’s time in office.
