Probably going to announce the tremendously powerful new COVID-19 treatment/cure/vaccine he's personally been working on when he's out on his working golf trips.

Joe Biden's mysteriously disappearing "Dislikes" on YouTube

https://justthenews.com/politics-po...-partys-youtube-dislikes-mysteriously-dropped

I suspect this is relevant: The Verge 2019: YouTube wants ‘dislike mobs’ to stop weaponizing the dislike button
“Dislike mobs” are the YouTube equivalent to review bombings on Steam — a group of people who are upset with a certain creator or game decide to execute an organized attack and downvote or negatively review a game or video into oblivion. It’s an issue on YouTube as well, and one that creators have spoken out against many times in the past. Reports have suggested that a video with a high number of dislikes — that outweighs the number of positive likes — is less likely to be recommended, and could therefore hurt the creator’s channel.

And again, the fact checking: USA Today: Fact check: DNC didn't leave out 'under God' from the Pledge of Allegiance
According to the DNC's site, there were 30 events that took place throughout the week led by council and caucus chairs such as the Labor Council, the Hispanic Caucus, the Black Caucus and more.

During two of those meetings – the LGBTQ caucus meeting and the Muslim Delegates Assembly – when the pledge was recited, "under God" was omitted, Snopes found. David Brody, chief political analyst at Christian Broadcasting Network, posted both videos to Twitter.

However, videos from the convention show that "under God" was recited on all four nights of the event — which were livestreamed and broadcast on TV.
They conclude it was partly false. I'd say it was completely false since it wasn't during the convention broadcast.

Two Democrat Caucus Meetings removed “UNDER GOD” from the Pledge of Allegiance...

Sounds like they’re originalists!

No one is denying THIS which is a different incident than Trump's lie that "under God" was removed from the Pledge during the DNC Convention. From Politifact:

Some Democratic caucus members omitted "one nation under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance during DNC meetings. But the line was not excluded from any of the convention’s prime time televised spots.

Some individuals chose not to say "under God". Which is a personal choice that I used to make.

This originated from a woman named Peggy Hubbard who failed in her primary bid for the Illinois Republican Senate seat last March. On her FB page she also shared this gem:

Democrats are the most delusional people on the plant. No wonder they want to ban teaching history, all their bad deeds is on record!

And she says Dems are delusional?

Chris Wallace “forgot” to ask a very weak and pathetic Schumer puppet, Senator Chrisie Coons, why Biden fought me when I put an extremely early BAN on people coming into our Country from heavily infected China. Biden later admitted I was right! But why no question?

“Next we’ll turn to people of the Biden inner circle”, said by Chris Wallace of @FoxNews
after unsuccessfully GRILLING Mark Meadows. Then all softball questions to a group of Biden lightweights, including Senator Chris Coons of Delaware.

If true, that might actually be more representative of the current state of the GOP than the Trump-heavy list of 'key' speakers.

Kimberly Guilfoyle, who is in charge of fundraising, but appears to be incompetent and/or in over her head (with accusations of mismanagement... not to mention a lack of empathy, after she and Trump Jr. left several staff members stranded in a strange city with no way home).

See: Politico.
That's so typical of rich bastards. They take a private jet and the staff on the ground have to quarantine themselves in a hotel.
The aides, who’d been in proximity to Guilfoyle, were forced to quarantine in their Rapid City, S.D., hotel rooms for three days and barred from face-to-face contact with colleagues as they pleaded with the campaign to get them home.

The campaign tried to reassure the staffers, checking in with them and stressing the need to wait a few days to take a coronavirus test. But the aides felt deserted and scared they’d get sick in a city they’d never set foot in before. They were so distraught that weeks later they sought out Stephanie Alexander, the campaign’s chief of staff, to vent about the experience, according to people familiar with the incident.
The article is full of more less than stellar facts about Guilfoyle's behavior. Conceited Trumps seem to be attracted to conceited partners.

That would probably be... an unwise move.

After Biden's speech was fairly well received (even by some Fox news people), Trump now has a higher bar.

So either: 1) he delivers the speech from a teleprompter, which tends to make him look lethargic (and often results in various mis-pronounced words), or 2) he goes off script, which makes him look like an idiot.

And if he's speaking multiple times, it means even more chances of something going wrong.
He's not going with the teleprompter. Perhaps we should have a poll. ;)

I don't see any way his handlers let Trump go off script, but even if he does, he is gonna speak every night to adulation from republicans, drooling veneration from his sycophants, and just enough "yeah, he did all right" from moderates to give him a nice convention bump.
It will be interesting to see if the news media notes every night was a rerun. I'm guessing he's going to try to stick to different topics, law and order, the pandemic, the economy and ... the lying press who want him to lose despite his greatness.

I wonder if Trump is really that concerned with his performance. If he manages to string 4 words together coherently, he has plenty of people who will tell him it was the best thing said since "Let there be light".
Of course he is not concerned about his performance. Everything he does is the best it has er been done.
No doubt surrounding himself with sycophants combined with his pathologic narcissism has had a very negative result.

That the FDA wasn't going to approve of if it weren't for him. Or that he suggested someone study.

Yep, the words "under god" were added during the Red Scare [mongering].

Why would his toadies use a Bible reference?

I think they would have better luck saying, “Sir, your speech is going to be more popular than ‘You’re fired.’”
