It's all pointless ,Trump is going to win.
USA is already a lost cause.
In 4 years it will be a 3rd world banana republic.

Why do you think Narcissistic Sociopathy is not a true mental illness?

Also, it really is no wackier than what he has said over the years. E.g. Covid is just a plot to make me look bad.

True. I was thinking more along the lines of a mental illness such as not living in reality...not being able to distinguish his paranoia from reality anymore.

In secretly recorded tapes by Mary Trump and heard by Michael Kranish of The Atlantic, Trump's older sister, Mary Anne, says that Donald has "no principles" and "you can't trust him".

Apparently there are 15 hours of recorded tapes. These tapes also apparently reveal that Mary Anne is the source of the allegation that a boy named Joe Shapiro took the SAT's for Donald to get into college. She also says, "And what they're doing with kids at the border." She guessed that "He hasn't read my immigration opinions on court cases," and "His God damned tweets and lying. Oh, my God, I'm talking too freely but, you know, the change of stories, the lack of preparation, the lying. Holy ****!"
(Interview of Kranish of CNN)

ETA: in the tapes, Mary Anne also calls Donald "cruel".

Quite well done.

I assume it was done by taking some statements made about Obama and the main stream media showing how they actually apply to trump and fox news.

Yeah, very slick editing. I assume none of the statements are about Obama. It's all recent, so he's probably talking about governors and their Coronavirus orders.

Probably. There's a number more on youtube, incidentally.

To poke elsewhere, though, a warning -

QAnon looms behind nationwide rallies and viral #SavetheChildren hashtags
Rallies planned on Facebook by QAnon supporters or sympathizers that have brought the conspiracy theory offline and into the town squares of dozens of cities in recent weeks.

QAnon is adopting more active and indirect tactics to get people involved in the real world, now. A relatively short summation of what's going on is...

QAnon spent years on the fringes of the internet, with the theory evolving and often growing less specific. What was originally a conspiracy theory that centered on an anonymous internet poster has now become something of a catchall for a variety of beliefs about a hidden group of child abusers in positions of power.

That's helped create a palatable entry point for many people who might not spend much time in dark parts of the internet but are active on Facebook. It's a strategy that has led to a significant growth in people who might not necessarily be among the most ardent QAnon die-hards, but are beginning to warm to some of its ideas.

"This is not about pedophilia," said Whitney Phillips, an assistant professor of communication and rhetorical studies at Syracuse University and co-author of the book, "You Are Here: A Field Guide for Navigating Polarized Speech, Conspiracy Theories and Our Polluted Media Landscape." "This is not about child protection. This is about a conspiracy theory that's trying to couch itself in other terms to get more people involved and sympathetic.”

Of a little note, though, it's also worth poking at this little tidbit in the article.

The hashtag was reinstated and continued to take off but lost steam when QAnon believers moved to #SaveOurchildren after realizing Save the Children, the humanitarian organization founded in 1919, was funded in part by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Bill Gates has been a constant target of unfounded conspiracy theories spread by QAnon groups since the coronavirus pandemic began.

*sigh*

Yeah, this is not a good sign, in a bunch of ways.

Yeah, this is not a good sign, in a bunch of ways.

Here in Portland today, the Proud Boys and other Trump supporters decided to come in and tangle with the BLM protesters who had been peaceful. The PB had "Save Our Children" painted on shields. Some also had guns. Things turned violent.

Two more losses for Trump, one expected, one unexpected.

On the expected side:

After trying to (unsuccessfully) get the U.N. security council to impose restrictions on Iranian weapons purchases, the U.S. tried to reimpose sanctions.... now, 13 of the 15 members of the security council have said "Nope... you withdrew from the agreement".

From: Times of India / Reuters
The United States was further isolated on Friday over its bid to reimpose international sanctions on Iran with 13 countries on the 15-member UN Security Council expressing their opposition, arguing that Washington's move is void given it is using a process agreed under a nuclear deal that it quit two years ago.

Another foreign policy failure for the Trump administration. And totally not surprising, given Trump's "America first" rhetoric and attacks on various allies.

And in an unrelated case:

From: The Guardian
A California judge has ordered Donald Trump to pay the adult film actor and director Stormy Daniels $44,100, to cover legal fees in the battle over her non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with the president.... Trump’s lawyers said Daniels didn’t win the case and therefore wasn’t entitled to lawyer fees. But Judge Robert Broadbelt III disagreed in his ruling on Monday, which determined Daniels to be the “prevailing party” under California law.

A bit unexpected.... I assumed that once Stormy Daniels lost the NDA case, that would be it.

Granted, its not a huge loss (and will probably be buried in the news), but its always nice to see Stubby McBonespurs lose (even if its just a minor court case.)

It has not been good day for Donnie. :D

Hear Trump’s sister saying somebody tools his SAT for him. Also, he did not attend Wharton. He attended U Penn.

Sort of sort of not. Wharton does have an undergraduate business program at University of Pennsylvania. It is not exclusive and is open pretty much to all U of P undergraduate students. Trump was a part of it.

Wharton's MBA program is considered to be one of the best business schools in the world. Trump never applied to the MBA program. I never heard about this program until a college friend of mine at the University of Washington was accepted. Unfortunately my friend never got to go there because he died the day before he graduated from UW in a freak diving accident.

This is correct. Trump always fudges what he says about Wharton. He says he attended, and then implies it was the MBA program at the business school.

RELEASE THE TRANSCRIPTS!
