To me the sheer pace of the stupidity seems to have increased. A year or so back Trump might go a few hours, even a day, without saying/doing something truly stupid, now it seems to every hour on the hour.
He's falling apart before our very eyes. Also explains all the attacks on Biden's allegedly crippling mental decline from Drumpf and his disciples. They're projecting like crazy. With just about anyone else on Earth it would've made me pity them. With such an evil person as Trump, it just mades me gleeful.

I think he's throwing **** at the wall to see what sticks. But I don't think he realizes that people are getting tired of the room smelling like poop.

What makes you think this is new? Or worse than usual?

There was a scary part to the Swan interview, too. It illustrated how trump is so rabidly fixated on China in a way that is very likely to destabilize international relations and world peace for years to come. Not that trump would understand that. While other presidents were attending foreign relations seminars this lunatic was probably watching Rambo movies. Spliced down to only the 'good parts.'
"This (Covid-19) was sent to us by China, one way or the other, and we’re never going to forget it. Believe me, we’re never going to forget it. And we were beating China at every single point. We were beating them on trade, we were making progress like nobody’s ever made progress. Before the pandemic, they had the worst year, Jonathan, that they’ve had in 67 years. You know that. With the tariffs and everything else I did, we would taking in billions of dollars. I was giving some of it to the farmers. The farmers were doing well because they were targeting the farmers, I was targeting China. We were doing good. Transcript on rev dot com*

Why is it so important to trump -- as the American president -- that China (on the off-chance this is fact) had it's worst economic year since 1953 (?) and he takes credit? It's a very powerful nation. Why taunt them? What is that supposed to gain? Is he so stupid he doesn't realize the Chinese are going to read that statement, too.

He also clings doggedly to the fiction that his tariffs produce revenue from China. Tariffs raise the price of products and the buyers, in this case American companies and consumers, pay the tab. (On this I wonder if he truly DOES NOT understand how tariffs work. That administration officials may have tried to explain it to him but trump refused to listen. It's the old, 'Ignorance is bliss,' syndrome. My speculation is based on comments I've read from people who served in trump's administration. One comment I read recently was along the lines of, "You cannot imagine how difficult it is to explain something to trump when it's something trump doesn't want to know. It's just absolutely impossible to get through to him.")

* - Rev dot com seems like a pretty junky site but is the only one I have found with a quotable transcript of the Swan interview. Be forewarned, if you follow the link you may have a 'Get your coupon' ad popup and then it's very hard to go back to the interview without starting all over.

To Trump, everything is zero-sum. There are only winners and losers. Nothing can ever be mutually beneficial. And he's always going to claim to be the winner, no matter what.

Trump claiming it could take years to get a "true" election result - i.e. one where he wins.

I've mentioned this before:

Trump will not accept defeat.

He's displaying true desperation and fear.

ETA: From the article:

"What they're going to do is blanket the state," Trump said Wednesday. "Everyone who ever walked is going to get one."

Republicans have expressed concern that this would result in ballots being sent to dead people, those who have moved, and others who are currently not eligible to vote.

Nevada will be sending ballots to all registered voters. In the primary, which used all mail in ballots, there was not a single case of voter fraud discovered.
