Trump, Hannity interview

One friend said to me, you have to be the most innocent man in the history of the United States.
One friend said to me, you have to be the most perfect person.

I wonder why Stubby McBonespurs is bothering with New Hampshire in the first place.

Granted, his loss to Clinton in 2016 was very thin, but Biden has already built up a fairly big lead in the polls, and it only has 4 electoral college votes. I figure there are more places where his campaigns would have more benefit.

I also wonder why they (the state) would actually let him hold a rally there. Are they jealous of Oklahoma's increase in Covid-19 cases and wanted to hold a super-spreader Trump rally event?

So they don't care about a pandemic, but they do care about a storm. Says a lot about human psychology.

The fact that the doctors were amazed he passed a simple cognitive test is very telling.

It's not something I would have bragged about.

They might have been amazed he was so pleased with his result and that he didn't notice it was a test we might use on a person with serious dementia to decide if they can keep living alone or need to go into an assisted living facility.

I haven't seen anything about ticket sales for the New Hampshire rally. Perhaps they were expecting another embarassingly low turnout, and used the weather for an excuse instead?

I watched my mother take this test a few years back, and although she passed at the time, it was difficult watching her have trouble with a few of the tests.

This is absolutely not something that a person in normal health would brag about passing. In fact, if you really are healthy, being given this test would seem like a huge insult, and we all know there's no way Trump would have kept quiet about being insulted.

He took no such test "recently". The whole thing is just a lie, start to finish.

And when he did take it several years ago, he didn't do well enough on it to realize he should have been insulted by the whole process.

I don't doubt Trump took a cognitive test; it's pretty standard for old folks like him an me. You remember some words, draw a clock, repeat the words, and set the time to 10 past 11.

I do doubt the docs were so amazed, of course.

The cardiologist who advised the WH for eight years said that cognitive tests are not given at routine check-ups unless there is a suspicion of cognitive impairment. He said the only one he knows of that was ever given to a president was when Bush (I think it was Bush) was coming out of anesthesia after a colonoscopy in order to reverse the 25th amendment temporary takeover by the VP. He went on to say that IF he was given one last November when that surprise visit to the hospital occurred, it supports that there may have been a suspected neurological event. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a TIA. My mom had a couple TIA's. She couldn't speak at all and then couldn't use the right words. When she spoke, it was just nonsense. She later said that she knew what she wanted to say, but the wrong words would just come out. It cleared up after about 15 minutes.

A transient ischemic attack (TIA) is a temporary period of symptoms similar to those of a stroke. A TIA usually lasts only a few minutes and doesn't cause permanent damage. Often called a ministroke, a transient ischemic attack may be a warning.

Draining the swamp, one pardon at a time.

Yep. Pure favoritism and rewarding of Stone for staying 'loyal' to Trump. It's a clear signal to anyone considering speaking out against him. This is not going to play well with a lot of voters who may be wavering on whom to vote for in Nov.

Trump had to pardon Stone, Stone Knew Corsi's source for the Pondesta information was his fellow Birthers at ForLabs in Italy.

Suddenly, a quarter of the US adults think it's a Gawd given right to kill yourself (slowly and painfully no less).
Odd how that sea change came about. [emoji20]

No, not to kill themselves, but not to give a damn about killing or infecting others.

Stacy is right. It's a bunch of goobers who "think" they have a gawd-given right to do whatever they want, the public weal can take the hindmost. It's Trumpian right down to their very, very cold heart.

In order of certainty....

Death
Stone will be pardoned without serving a day
Taxes

The mountain of dirt he has on Trump is an automatic get-out-of-jail-free card.
And Trump has just commuted Stone’s sentence.

ETA: double ninja’d by Stacyhs and shemp. (I should read more and post less.)
