At the rally, he called Covid-19 "kung flu." I sort of understand why people support him, but at some point don't you have to revert to being an adult?

No. Trumpanzees call people who act responsible and adult-like "elitists."

An ol' acquaintance of my claimed that the reason less than 7K were in attendance was because many were not let in due to social distancing. She failed to provide any evidence of this other than "many people are posting that they can't get in."

So the Trump administration was not in charge? Why did they back down when someone else came in and said, “no more people”?

I was talking to my wife about this aspect of TDS. I pointed out to her that Trump started the whole method of engaging political opponents. From the start he sets out to bully, humiliate, denigrate and ridicule his opponents. He complains when he gets that back.

That was how he some the nomination. His opponents tried to set nominal standards of decency but Trump was having none of that and caught them off guard.

It's hardly "deranged" to say

that a pathological liar is one
That his actions are xenophobic and racist.
That he's helplessly corrupt.
That he violates his oath of office to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. A document he has referred to as "phony"
That his actions very clearly violates basic checks and balances of good government.

I despise Trump because he is despicable. This is hardly "deranged". That would suggest that being angry about the horrible actions of a horrible man is not what should be expected. But you are right in a way. These are the seeds the man sowed. Since he traffics in hate, it is hardly surprising that people hate him.

But I do like one thing his administration has been doing. They are investing in new nuclear energy technologies.

I hope they don't do it on stage, in person. I believe Trump will try to bully and provoke Joe Biden into a physical altercation and Biden just might oblige.

At this point would Trump being involved in an actual fistfight even surprise us?

Hmm.

Another thing worthy of concern in the background.

Local newspaper the Voice of San Diego has reported that they are suing the Federal Aviation Administration over their refusal to answer questions about the flight of the 79-ft. wingspan, six-ton surveillance drone over a major population center in Southern California. Why should the people underneath the drone get to know the answers, right? The FAA’s reason for refusal doesn’t add up: “We can’t get into details about a military aircraft program.” Military. This, despite the fact that both NASA and General Atomics have been saying for the past nine months that the flight is completely civilian/commercial in nature.

Owner/Operator: General Atomics, a privately-owned civilian company.
Mission: To demonstrate civilian/commercial applications of large drones.
Sponsoring Agency: NASA, a civilian agency.
SkyGuardians’ FAA certification: Civil.

Somebody’s lying. Good on ya’, Voice of San Diego.

I would pay very good money to see Biden beat the living crap out of Trump! In a cage match!

Another reason I wish Warren were the candidate instead. I'm pretty sure she could enter the Avatar State and demolish Trump in a way few could dare to dream of.

I watched a few minutes of Trump and the other speakers. For the fifth year of rallies, Democrats are still aborting and Obama keeps giving 150 billion to Iran. Isn't it getting a little boring? Biden still bribes/forces Ukraine.

It'd shock the hell out of me, because as pointed out, Trump never does anything for himself.

But it would be HI-larious to watch. Particularly since Trump has a history of running and hiding at the first sight of blood. That's not a good attribute to have if you're looking to win a fist fight.

Aides were looking forward to the Tulsa rally boosting Trump’s spirits.

Am I a bad person for feeling a sense of schadenfreude right now?

You're not a bad person. Remember, it's always funny when Trump suffers. If Trump is in pain, the nation should feel pleasure. Well the people who are loyal to the nation. The people who support Trump, well they should just go **** themselves. They should go **** themselves right in the ear. It's funny when they suffer too.

I mean with Trump, you'd just have to dance around for about 30 seconds until he tires out and then go in for the kill. Let his heart disease do the work for you.

Those aides will have to come up with other ways to cheer up Trump.
I'm thinking no-end call-ins to Fox&Frogs, a Breitbart Townhall or a visit to some Dictator's Palace.
