As I posted earlier, a fake "Antifa" website calling for 'infiltration into the suburbs' was actually run by white nationalists. But you don't see Trump or Barr mentioning this. I'm sure it's just an oversight. Totally innocent.

I've seen plenty of offensive statements from Cain and I know them to be sarcastic and don't comment on them usually. I just felt todays comment was too soon and too offensive to be chuckled at.

Well, he is...edgy.

To put it differently than some of my forum compatriots, some of us think he's funny. He's not as good as Stephen Colbert classic (i.e. back when Colbert was a right-wing parody), but he's not bad.

And...yeah, it's kind of offensive. But I laughed.

I don't mind it, though, that you and others mentioned the offensive nature. Sometimes it also is a good idea to remind people that not everyone is going to appreciate all the humor.

Cain is a brilliant parody, who might sometimes go too far. But when he does break character, he demonstrates that's he's actually very thoughtful.

It's not his fault that it's almost impossible to be far out enough to actually constitute a parody of what these people actually say everyday.

It's not that gutsy. He's almost universally loved. If he can't talk **** about Trump without career blowback, there may be no celebrity who could...apart perhaps from Tom Hanks. I expect The Rock will be having huge opening weekends long after Trump is six feet under.

I have to disggree. Acton movies are The Rock's bread and butter, and a good new of the hardcore male audience for action films are MAGA types.
 
I've always said that if the US ever went towards Dictatorship that the gun wielding 2nd Amendment nuts would be on the side of the wannabe dictator. Guess we're going to see if I'm right....

As Trump touts increased production, coronavirus swabs made during his Maine factory tour will be tossed in the trash

GUILFORD, Maine – President Donald Trump traveled to Maine Friday to tour a facility that makes medical swabs used for coronavirus testing, but the swabs manufactured in the background during his visit will ultimately be thrown in the trash, the company said.

Puritan Medical Products said it will have to discard the swabs, a company spokeswoman told USA TODAY in response to questions about the visit.

"The running of the factory machines is very limited today and will only occur when the president is touring the facility floor," Virginia Templet, the company's marketing manager told USA TODAY in response to questions about the event. "Swabs produced during that time will be discarded."

The National Football League has said players should be allowed to protest during the national anthem as rallies against racial discrimination continue.
