Washington DC paints a giant 'Black Lives Matter' message on the road to the White House


(CNN) - Washington DC is painting a message in giant, yellow letters down a busy DC street ahead of a planned protest this weekend: BLACK LIVES MATTER.

The massive banner-like project spans two blocks of 16th Street, a central axis that leads southward straight to the White House. Each of the 16 bold, yellow letters spans the width of the two-lane street, creating an unmistakable visual easily spotted by aerial cameras and virtually anyone within a few blocks.

He's paid lip service, forcing out a few supportive platitudes amidst the constant flow of highly unsupportive commentary.

That way, Kayleigh McEnany can utter Newspeak like This President has done everything in his power to send a powerful message that these injustices will not be tolerated.
 
Trump gave Alaska ANWR? One, it's not his to give, and two, that would be Eisenhower and Carter. If he means the oil leases, I wonder if they are even profitable given the price of oil these days.

President Donald Trump's re-election campaign pulled a space-themed ad from YouTube Thursday after complaints were raised that it violated NASA guidelines and at least one former astronaut objected to appearing in it without her consent.

Twitter took down video tributes to George Floyd tweeted by the Trump campaign over a copyright complaint on Thursday... Twitter spokesperson Lauren Alexander said it took the action because of a copyright complaint under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

(Note that this isn't the first time Trump has been accused of violating copyright rules and other restrictions during campaign activities. I guess rules like that don't apply to Stubby Mcbonespurs.)
 
If the White House hasn't been turned into a Skull Fortress carved out of volcanic rock, with lava flows pouring out of the eyes, and a moat filled with alligators by the end of next week I will been incrediably disappointed.

Given there are at least two forms of “Trump” twitter posts: ghost-written coherent and Trump-written bat manure crazy rambling, I wonder how that is organized. Does Trump write some crap and, if it is during working hours, the ghost writers fix it up? Or are the posting completely separate, with the ghost writers uploading their propaganda created by the Whitehouse Ministry of Truth even as Trump uploads his own mind droppings?

Playing "Which is a Trump tweet, which is a tweet someone else wrote, which is a tweet that someone else wrote and Trump added something to it, and which one is Trump tweet that someone tried in vain to translate into coherent human" is one of my favorite games to play right now.
