The Radical Left Lamestream Media, together with their partner, the Do Nothing Democrats, are trying to spread a new narrative that President Trump was slow in reacting to Covid 19. Wrong, I was very fast, even doing the Ban on China long before anybody thought necessary!

Twitter has now shown that everything we have been saying about them (and their other compatriots) is correct. Big action to follow!

I wonder what that "big action" will be.

To channel the previous GOP President, President Trump is all hat and no cattle - unless he is going to take the extraordinary step of, say, punishing Facebook financially (through fines and/or restricted access to the US) unless they agree to allow President Trump to say anything without being fact-checked.

On the other hand, this does lend some support to the claim that mail-in ballots are somewhat more susceptible to fraud than in-person voting.

However, this is for your (frankly slightly bizarre) primary thing, where there are different ballots for R and D (surely the recipients would notice?)...
The same thing isn't applicable to a general election.

The postal worker wasn't changing any votes or voting on anyone's behalf.

Indeed, arguably he was preventing people from voting...something the R's seem to be determined to push themselves.

Trump is following an old terrorist playbook here.
If Twitter doesn't come down like a ton of bricks on him and label everything that violates their rules, they will make themselves hostage to him - hopefully the Stockholm phase is over now.

But the are a White minority.

They are a majority of whites. White non-Hispanics make up about 62% of the US population. If Trump's base is 40%, and if we can assume that his base is almost entirely white, then about 64% of white Americans are Trump supporters. Almost 2/3.

Think about that the next time you're out shopping. Almost 2/3 of the white people you see are Trump supporters. Of course, this depends on where you are, YMMV.

Remember Rasmussen? That's the polling company that usually has a reputation for having a pro-Republican bias. (Their polls sometimes showed Trump with ~50% approval while others would often be 5-10% less.)

Well, seems like even Rasmussen has seen a drop in his popularity.

From: NationalReview
President Trump on Wednesday reached his worst approval rating in over two years on Rasmussen’s daily index, with just 42 percent of respondents approving of his performance while 57 percent disapproved. The fifteen point net disapproval reflects the bleakest picture for the president since December, 2017.

Well we know half of the population has below median intelligence:)

They're already hostage to him. He's their bread and butter. The kids have moved on to the next data-mining communications platform and most everyone else has realized the dialog is largely driven by corporate shills and political trolls.

They had a chance to stay relevant when tumblr went SFW-only to appease its board. They could have embraced the tumblr refugees and spun off an adult-focused product catering to them, with genuinely useful enforcement tools put in by necessity because of all the porn. I would have called it "twatter," which is why I'm not in a place to make decisions like that.

But they did not. They adopted a half-assed "whine into the void long enough and maybe the void will care" style moderation that can be used to silence anyone who doesn't bring in enough users for them.

He’s been punishing Amazon.com in terms of government contracts, etc. because Bezos also owns the Washington Post.

Absolutely. It was a stupid attempt at messing with the election.

Trump replied on Twitter, accusing the platform of “interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election” and insisting that “as president, I will not allow this to happen.” His 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale, said Twitter’s “clear political bias” had led the campaign to pull “all our advertising from Twitter months ago.”

Twitter has banned all political advertising since last November.

Only the best people. What a bunch of morons.

A few years ago, I had a rabid far right wing Trump supporter tell me that it's the Democrats who were the "real" racists and proceeded to tell me about the Southern Dems in the 1950's and 1960's while repeating the "Lincoln was a Republican" bit. I quoted and cited several historians' books on how the Dems and Republicans had basically changed platforms and the GOP and Dems of today are not the party of decades ago. She was adamant that I was wrong. I asked her to present articles by historians that supported her claim. The only thing she could produce was a Youtube video by a whacko right winger who had no credentials as an historian or expert on anything. Confronted with overwhelming evidence that she was wrong, she refused to admit it and continued with her allegations of "blacks are slaves to Democrat welfare" and "black people are afraid to vote Republican because Dems will kill them".
At that point, I realized you can't convince someone with logic and facts when logic and facts are not part of their reality.

Who (Democrats or Republicans) are the ones walking around waving the Confederate Flag?

I think we can safely say that those people are not part of "the party of Lincoln." By definition.

Not sure I'd call it noble.

One of the insidious effects of Trump's nonsense is that it brings harm to the victim's family for political purposes. Seems to me that this effort has the same effect.

There are (at least) two bad parties in Trump's disinformation campaign.

(1) Twitter is bad for aiding Trump's spread of lies for the sake of profit.
(2) Trump is bad for many reasons, among them causing harm to an innocent and private family.

Trying to force Twitter to stop their harmful act by mirroring Trump's harmful act is not noble in my mind.

That was my thought when I read Squeegee B's post. What Trump is doing is
disgusting. Doing the same thing will get us nowhere. It will not change anyone's mind.

The rats are beginning to leave the ship. The worse your ratings, the more will realize there will come a day when they will be called to answer for their allegiance. As the election gets closer, this could avalanche.

I wonder how many influential Republicans have become suspiciously silent, lately?

Donny isn't a useful idiot any longer, he is a liability. A loose cannon. People are beginning to wonder what they will say when he's gone.
