Biden for President?

These things are unsubstantiated. They are, at best, leads to a further story that could be investigated. Except the car repo thing. I don't see how that could be relevant at all.

Anyone making conclusions based on these half-bites of evidence is filling in the rest with their wishful thinking and/or their disdain for the poor.

These people casting stones at Reade for money problems, what exactly do you think you know about her career? I couldn't find much. She went to non-elite law school and worked for at a battered women's group. I'm not seeing a gravy train.

If we handwave away every instance, then we can pretend there's no pattern. If we're being dishonest anyway, or if we have some ulterior motive to use her story to get our twice failed candidate into the ticket somehow.

You're building a pattern on unsubstantiated claims. Every time I dig into one, you dance to another. It's a circular reasoning loop where the worst things about Reade should be believed because she's not credible, and she's not credible because all of these horrible things she did.

What exactly do you think you know about Reade's alleged check fraud? What evidence do you have? What do you think this means about her character?

Please share. Cause it seems an awful lot like you have next to nothing.

Take it up with Stachys, who seeems to think it's a scandal that this law degree holding women can't manage her finances.

Those were the asides. It's telling that you had to snip them out of larger posts about the other stuff you keep ignoring.

Ford's timing was equally inconvenient for Kavanaugh. I think it makes plenty of sense. If someone did that to me, I'd want to kick them where it hurts most. Nailing them to the cross when they are in the public spotlight makes perfect sense to me. I don't question Ford's motives for waiting decades. I don't question Reade's either.

If it were Reade's plan to kick Biden when he was in the spotlight, he was already in the spotlight as a Senator. He was in a bigger one as VP. But when he was a Senator and a VP she had nothing but praise for him. No, when she decided Bernie was her guy, then he lost, that was when Reade's story changed.

You haven't dug into anything. You have handwaved away or ignored the thefts. You have made unsubstantiated claims about the fraud case. You have ignored the go-fund-me for a divorce that happened 2 decades previous. Instead, you're leaving clever traps about a repo man or a bankruptcy that don't get more than an aside or two pages later.

No. SuburbanTurkey (and not Reade or her lawyer btw) is making the claim that it was only one. It is his claim to prove. Asking him to do so is normal and expected here.

Ok, sure, it's possible that this was a dramatic over-reaction many, many times greater than normal by the prosecutor, but if you're claiming extraordinary actions we're going to need some sort of evidence.
I do not consider it an overreaction for a prosecutor to funnel people into diversion programs. I've had 2 diversions.

It's par for the course. It keeps their conviction rate high and also shows a merciful attitude towards people who "made a few bad decisions." You can make campaign ads out of "not throwing single mothers in jail."

It's how you move from local DA to state AG or the legislative assembly. It's padding the resume.

Kavanaugh also had a long public life where Ford would have had many opportunities to make an allegation. Why did she wait?

I think it's worth noting MeToo movement has only really gained a lot of steam in the last 5 years.

What do you know about the check fraud?

You're right, I've speculated well beyond the evidence. I have no idea what happened, and neither do you.

What do you know? Quit dodging. Admit it's nothing and you just want to smear Reade with whatever Twitter crap falls in your lap.

Thank you. I don't expect this to last mind, given how fringe resets work around here. But it's nice to have while it's there.

So what do you know about Reade's check fraud. Is it nothing? Will you not admit that it's nothing?

Is Reade's check fraud, in which you know next to nothing about, part of a pattern of unreliability that speaks against her character?

Did your diversions involve the "class or classes" that Reade's program apparently require? I thought Georgia (for one) was pretty punitive towards the poor, but such a program is unheard of here.

Yes, the check fraud, the thefts, the go-fund-me, etc. are all part of a pattern of unreliability. So are the story changes, both hers and those of her witnesses.

What evidence is there that Reade was in a diversion program?

Again, I'll ask what you refuse to answer.

What do you think you know about this? What can you prove?

Because it sounds like you're speculating wildly to suit your agenda.

I was avoiding charges for possession of Marijuana. Yes, I took substance abuse treatment and peed in little cups when the phone number I had to call every morning included "rust" among the list of colors for that day. All of these things cost money and only state-licensed facilities counted. See how the wheel churns?

Also community service hours.

I actually enjoyed that part, I got to film and edit some promo and training videos for a tiny little volunteer fire department serving a little gap of unincorporated County space that none of the surrounding municipalities want any part of. There is a tiny retirement community and some trailer parks. It does allow for new firefighter/EMTs to get their required minimum hours in so they can move on to getting paid for a change :9.

"Senator, what do you think of the new girl?"

"Who? Reed? Ride? I'd like to ride her, if you know what I mean."

"Haha, yeah. Speaking of - you notice she's not wearing hose today?"

"Oh really? I bet she wants it."

"Even if she doesn't, I hear she's got money problems. Enough nobody'd believe her anyway. You know what they say, when a girl has money problems."

"And you know what they say about being a Senator."

"Grab 'em by the pussy? I think that's Hollywood celebrities, Senator."

"Whatever. I'm going in. Catch up with you later."

"Good luck, Senator!"

What evidence is there that Reade was in a diversion program?

Her lawyer's statement that she was. Oh, wait, it gets better. Grim from the Intercept reported that Reade's attorney, Douglas Wigdor, told him that Reade had "paid this off and the charges were dropped." When I tried to get a quote from the lawyer, it turns out he denies making that claim!

Wigdor said that wasn't true. "I didn't tell him that," he told Salon in a phone interview. "What I told Grim was that I had been called by another reporter who indicated he had confirmed that the case had been dismissed by way of a payback of this bad check and some small court costs. It was dismissed, according to this reporter, on Sept. 3, 1993."

"I wouldn't say that I could confirm it or that my client could confirm it, because my client doesn't have a recollection," Wigdor continued. "She's not denying it — maybe it did come in and she paid it back — but she does not recall this happening."

So I guess Ryan Grim, the guy who has been pushing Reade's story, isn't credible either. All we have is a record of a court case, and another thing Reade can't remember.

What do you think you know about this? What can you prove?

Because it sounds like you're speculating wildly to suit your agenda.

Sorry, but that's classic projection.

And possession of marijuana charges are equivalent to bouncing a check? Actually, now that it's getting legal in so many places they probably are. But back in the 90's they sure weren't.

So what do you think you know about her check fraud case? what are the substantiated facts?

Please explain why this is relevant at all in her pattern of unreliability you keep going on about.

Edit: Did you read that story you linked at all? It claims that the court document was deceptively altered. Seems like deliberate misrepresentation by someone to smear Reade with flimsy allegations. a

Are you really asking why check fraud is relevant to multiple thefts and money scams?
