The Trump Presidency: Part 20

Over on Facebook, a fellow who is not an idiot just praised Trump for his consistency, saying he’s the kind of boss he’d like to work for for that reason.

Just hard to wrap my mind around.

Consistently wrong, maybe.

Or maybe the guy just loves the idea of a boss he can suck up to be assured rewards.

I thought I might reply, “Be careful with that. Michael Cohen, Paul Manafort, General Flynn and too many others to list may have been enamored with his “consistency” as well.” But, in general, I’ve found no good can come from political discussions on Facebook.

Have you seen how close everyone stands in his daily briefings?

Closer.

I hope they stand closer, and all the time. I encourage as much closeness as possible between Trump supporters. As often as possible.

Every time I hear about some fundi preacher exhorting his parishioners to come to church, and railing about how 'the gummint' has no right to close churches it just warms my heart.

Please, please. Stand as close as possible. Go to church every chance you get.

Republicans behave like occupants in their own country.
That's... a very accurate description. It's like the US is a colony and Trump is this decadent governour looking down at the inferior natives, while trying to enrich himself off the country and his position as much as he possibly can.

It's irrational, but common.

One of the things that people said they liked about Trump during the campaign is that "he tells it like it is". Of course, if you actually listen to him, you know that's BS. He lies like a rug.

However, when he speaks, he is never hesitant. It doesn't matter whether he knows the answer, or is just making something up on the spot. He's very confident in everything he says. People like the guy you just read on Facebook obviously don't pay attention to the substance of what he says. He just sees that Trump is always confident, and somehow in that Facebook poster's brain, that ends up appearing as "consistency". Unlike other leaders, who might appear hesitant when they acknowledge that there are things they don't know, Trump always appears to be going forward, unhesitant, confident, and consistent, even if he's going exactly the opposite of the direction he went yesterday.

Advertising in the Failing New York Times is WAY down. Washington Post is not much better. I can’t say whether this is because they are Fake News sources of information, to a level that few can understand, or the Virus is just plain beating them up. Fake News is bad for America!

Joe Biden wanted the date for the Democrat National Convention moved to a later time period. Now he wants a “Virtual” Convention, one where he doesn’t have to show up. Gee, I wonder why? Also, what ever happened to that phone call he told the Fake News he wanted to make to me?

For humanitarian reasons, the passengers from the two CoronaVirus stricken cruise ships have been given medical treatment and, when appropriate, allowed to disembark, under strict supervision. Very carefully done. People we’re dying & no other countries would allow them to dock!

LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!

USA STRONG!

Thank you Gayle. I only wish the public could fully understand how corrupt & dishonest so much of our Lamestream Media is. My Press Conferences are vital. They are reaching millions of people that are not being told the truth, & haven’t been for years (Witch-Hunts, Fake News)!

As much as they try to leverage our current crisis to debilitate the president, their efforts continue to backfire"

I don't know anyone in the last three years who has done more to help Vladimir Putin and Russia with their efforts to sow the seeds of discord in American elections and American election security than Adam Schiff.

So dumbfounded that the Democrats would rather revert to subpoenas than find solutions to the unprecedented crisis we are working through.

Take a look back and RT what the liberal media and Joe Biden said about President Trump's aggressive, early response to the #coronavirus.

Thank God @realDonaldTrump is the one in charge during this scourge!

He doesn't seem to be in charge of anything but his phone.

You just know that he honestly thinks that Tweeting is how he does his job. He just sends something out into the interwebs and it's done: proclamations, appointments, firings, etc. Someone said above that he makes goals, not plans. This is spot on. He doesn't know the difference and doesn't really understand the job description or function.
