And even call A-Rod for advice!

Did he actually call A-Rod for advice?

I was utterly confused by his tweet mentioning A-Rod, or at least the one that I saw. It began with "Fake News".

I couldn't quite make sense of it, but the interpretation that seemed most obvious was that he was denying that he called A-Rod, and that the story of his having done so was Fake News.

Which means it's probably true.

Trump looked like he had just been hit on the head in his news conference today.
Maybe finally he is realizing just how big a mess he has made, and that the higher death tolls goes, the lower his chances of relecton go.

It's very sad that the biggest concerns to Trump about this crisis are his own political and financial interests.

What stood out to me was his blatant denial of saying things he provably did say because they've become 'inconvenient' and his constant need to brag about the 'fantastic job' he's doing the 'likes of which have never been seen before'. I've never seen anyone who needs as much ego stroking as he does.

I didn't see the news conference, but I think the announcement that social distancing guidelines would be extended must have hit him hard. As strange as it may seem, he must have actually listened to his advisors.

This is bad on so many levels. First, it's just plain bad. It means this disease is going to hit an awful lot of people. Second, it means that a whole lot of things that he has been saying are not true, and he's worried that people will hold that against him. Third, it means that economically, we are screwed, and he is also worried that people will hold that against him.

The "people will hold it against him" is probably the part he is most concerned with.

What? They need to protect themselves from roving bands of toilet paper stealing thugs? There has been no evidence that crime has gone up during this time.

Don't be silly. How are all those *real* Americans gong to defeat the CrowNo China Bug unless they all have several weapons to shot it with. And, because the damn Chinks are everywhere, they gonna need a lot of ammo.

And then it turned out he has been writing bitchy tweets about Rodriguez for years because of course he has.

"I started to get very worried about Mitt's chances when I heard that A-Rod donated to his campaign. Everything A-Rod touches turns bad." -- Donald Trump, Nov. 8, 2012
