Is the USA a country - yes or no?
“Well, it depends in what your definition of “country” is”.
We’re in Clinton (Bill) territory here.

Not out of the question, but you'd have to explain the relatively low numbers coming from S. America where there is a very high hispanic population.
I'm not discounting the possibility of some genetic component, just that I'm not sure I see a correlation at this point.
Worldometer shows U.S. has the most cases.
This is added to our already existing "lead" in active cases and growth rate.
Hey, Trump promised he would make America #1
lol...
To presume that the federal government isn't doing 'anything' while excusing the incompetence of the states is as narrow minded as it comes.
What has the federal government done? ..
Trump's contribution was signing his name on others' work.Besides a couple of $trillion + in relief and aid?
As to the bolded, that's just not true. The USA is as much, if not more, a melting pot than S. America. In S. America the predominant ethnic influence is Spanish and Native American. Not true in the US. We have a mixture from all over the world.
I really don't disagree with the genetic component. I'm just not seeing any strong correlation at this point.

Not an insignifacant # in a country of 16 million
What has the federal government done? How does that compare with what Cuomo has done? Who has more power and resources, a president or a governor?
Hey, Trump promised he would make America #1
I guess it's now the American Virus.
It used to be the system in the past, we still have Marburg, Ebola, Hanta, Zika .. it was nice, one learned about geography a bit. Suddenly it's not PC.
The only person I hear using "China" or "Wuhan" virus these days is the US.It's just owned by US, it will always be Wuhan virus. Also I liked that a lot more. It used to be the system in the past, we still have Marburg, Ebola, Hanta, Zika .. it was nice, one learned about geography a bit. Suddenly it's not PC.
