Oooh, World Teleconference! I'll have to remember that the next time I pull an international team out of bed to talk about something. It's not a conference call, we are communicating by World Teleconference.

Trump is the epitome of "if you only have a hammer...." the only way Trump can deal with anything "negative" is to attack, his silly names and so on, but this time he has no one he can blame.... Yet.

It's a Do-nothing Democrat hoax virus that came from Gina! But I close borders and shut out yellow people and everything is bigly fine!

Also, I seem to recall I've seen trumpers blame obama because he did various things during his presidency. See, never Papa Trump's fault.

Of course he does. He already blames the Chinese and he continues to blame the media for any bad news - while criticism of him and his administration is highest on his hit list, he poisoned the well early when he claimed the Democrats and the press (really just an extension of the Democratic Party) were playing up the virus to make him look bad. He's also been blaming governors (Democrats, naturally) from pretty much the start when he called Governor Jay Inslee of Washington "a snake."

From now until the election in November (and probably beyond) he is going to be blaming the Democrats for this outbreak so much that his supporters will probably start believing that the Democrats engineered the virus themselves.

I admit to still holding onto hope that the numbers won't come anywhere close to Holocaust levels - however much Trump's leadership and decision making would be far too likely to lead to numbers at those levels, left unchecked.

Sorry I badly worded my post. Want I meant was that his usual toolset will not have any effect on the virus, its not going to die out because Trump called it a nasty name.
 
Hard to believe. This story started coming out this afternoon (U.S. time):
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canada is in talks with the United States in hopes of avoiding the deployment of American soldiers along their shared border. Trudeau says it is in the best interests of both countries that the world’s longest unmilitarized border remain that way. The comments follow a Global News report that the Trump administration is considering whether to deploy troops to intercept anyone trying to enter the U.S. illegally from Canada. Link

Reporter calls Trump out TO HIS FACE for re-opening country to help in election


At about :55 he starts bashing Paula Reed and other fake news reporters, then brags that no other administration has done the job they've done (I agree!) and then says it's lucky that we have them for this problem OR WE WOULDN'T HAVE A COUNTRY LEFT.

Nah, he's not nuts.
