That was his plan if he had lost, and in that case it wouldn't have been state media since he wouldn't be part of the state. And since he won, he hasn't pursued that plan, so... still no state media.

DC has a majority minority population. Not a problem for Trump. Those N-words deserved it.

Of course, if it hits the wealthier suburbs that might be different.

He's calling thew news he doesn't like The Enemy of the people. I'm astounded that you cannot see how bad that is.

He either wants to make Fox news the official news of the state, or he wants to start a news source that is.
 
Fox opinion programs are indistinguishable from State propaganda - low on information, high on emotional support, and almost unique in access to this administration.

I wasn't talking about it as an outbreak in DC proper, it's almost disconnected from the actual capital area.

I meant it as an outbreak among the legislators, the ones who do indeed believe they are above it all.

Think about it, as it is our top Democratic candidates are out in the crowds shaking hands. I'm worried it might wipe out the whole slew of elderly candidates.

I don't know how paranoid Trump is about those crowds at his rallies but his people, the secret service, the campaign staff, there are bridges between Trump and those crowds.

And there's the denial, anyone ill in the White House probably has the flu, but if they don't, it's likely they they are coming to work sick, touching things, making the food. More bridges to Trump.

We don't have meds for this yet. All those well off legislators feel immune to the diseases of the common people. Doctors will treat them so "What—me worry?"

It would spread quickly though Congress before they realized someone among them was contagious.

You really can't say that about North Korea. It's proximity to China is almost irrelevant. NK is like an open air prison. Travel is limited substantially.

I didn't watch the video so I don't know what The PDJT was talking about at the time, but from a psychological standpoint, the nose-wiping gesture indicates discomfort and self-awareness (when it's not medically indicated).

But it would be a Trump-style bankruptcy. The investors would lose money and President Trump would make money.

It looks like he wipes with his left hand then shakes with his right, but that left hand still touches everyone like wiping your boogers on everyone.

No matter, he's still blatantly unaware of what he did.

This is why I've said all the legislators are mulling around while the time bomb is ticking. They so don't get it.

Well... that time may not be far away. There's a report, now that there's been testing allowed to be done, that it's been in Washington state for at least six weeks.

On a bit of a bright side in the news, though, small as it is...

Federal judge rules that Ken Cuccinelli was unlawfully appointed

And, given that, some of the bad policy he's put into place has been officially negated. Whether the people implementing the policies will actually stop, though, is another matter entirely.

Which, of course, was his intention as he had no plan for if he were to win. In that, he failed once again.

However, consider that in the Republican ideal of the US as a corporatocracy, state media would, itself, be controlled by a corporation. in this case, “state media” does not refer to the source of funding, but to its goals as a part of state propaganda. Perhaps in this case, it might more accurately be called party media and party propaganda.

Yeah, I'm right in the middle of that.

Now I'm paranoid if I did enough over the last week to keep from getting it. I used hand sanitizer and hand washing, but I might not have been careful enough with the bags and groceries I brought into the house. On the good side, I stocked up on supplies before the rush and before the surge of cases really takes off here.
