“We demand fairness” shouts Pelosi and the Do Nothing Democrats, yet the Dems in the House wouldn’t let us have 1 witness, no lawyers or even ask questions. It was the most unfair witch-hunt in the history of Congress!
 
I think most of Trump's tweets belong in the "Is Trump mentally ill" thread as evidence that, indeed, he is.

ETA: Trump retweeted a photoshopped image of Chuck Schumer wearing a turban and Nancy Pelosi wearing hijab standing with an Iranian flag. The tweet included the caption "The corrupted Dems trying their best to come to the Ayatollah's rescue. #NancyPelosiFakeNews."

Trump also retweeted a picture of a mutilated corpse with the caption "Question: Who in America supports this mullahs' crime? Answer : Nancy Pelosi,".

Trump's sick hatred for, and obsession with, Obama has a new rival: his sick hatred for, and obsession with, Pelosi.

Looks like the Democrats want the courts to rule on the fate of Obamacare quickly, while the Republicans want the courts to wait until after 2020.

It may sound backwards (why would the Democrats want quick action that can end health care for millions and why would republicans want to wait to complete the task of getting rid of Obamacare.) But, it makes sense in the context of the upcoming election. Many people like Obamacare, and the Republicans probably don't want to harm their chances in the next election by killing off a program that benefits many of their own voters.

U.S. presidents have been issuing New Year's greetings in Farsi for years. I think there are also Farsi-language broadcasts from Voice of America or similar.

It's now being reported that no embassies were notified of any imminent threat at the time of Soleimani's assassination. That would have been standard procedure if such a danger existed. I think most people have figured out by now that there was no "imminent" threat and that Trump's and Pompeo's reason for killing Soleimani was nothing but a big, fat lie.
