Haven't you been to the demonstrations and seen all those signs with graphics of the world on fire ? The planet is going to burn up ? It's going to be like 4 billion years ago when the Earth was just forming and there were lakes of lava everywhere.

And the whole world is going to be suffering from eco-anxiety, just like Thunberg want's everyone to.

If you really want an answer you should read what climate scientists say. Just as Ms. Thunberg is advising them to. You have made it quite clear that you don’t believe climate is changing. An education would be useful.

In 1980 minimum sea ice was 7 million square kilometres. I was 18. In 2015 minimum sea ice was 4 million square kilometres. I was 52.

People who live most of their lives in a changed climate, have no idea it has changed, except for tales of the good ol' days..

They will be complaining about the northwest passage icing over and the lower sea levels destroying their ' no longer' beach front property..


We have, and will always be, living in a " changed ' climate.

How we adapt to it is all that matters..

How hard it is going to be to adapt due to the rate of change is very significant. Also, why is it only the human species that matters? Most of the other species have to adapt as well and they can't use aircon and they exist in ecosystems that will have to adapt as well.

Yes I will argue against your statement. People who are alive today will definitely be alive in 30 years. Those people will be well aware of the climate changes that have occurred during those 30 years. The only alternative is that climate change is so drastic to hat no one is alive in 30 years to make the observation.
