I don’t understand. Are you trying to argue that you are not a climate science denier because you only deny some of what climate scientists have to say?

Oh yes, and I agreed that it was a pretty funny story. But ultimately irrelevant to the thread except as an amusing side note.
Considering she's pretty much on ice for the next couple of weeks, there's not many directions this thread can go in. She probably won't make COP25.

It's a matter of science, not a binary right it wrong. It's a progression of gathering evidence and refining what we best know with that evidence. Climate science and it's predictions of global warming has been remarkably accurate.

Science can always be wrong. Evolution could be wrong, this doesn’t mean the “questions” young earth creationists have about it are valid. The crackpots are always “asking questions” this doesn’t mean they are engaging in skeptical inquiry.
What matters isn’t whether science “could be wrong” but what the evidence says. In this case, there is no evidence to support the belief that CO2 sensitivity is lower than the accepted range. The belief in lower CO2 sensitivity is pseudoscientific because it runs counter to all lines of scientific evidence.

Indirectly related to the greta stuff is another group of folks who want to take the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement to completion a decade ahead of schedule.
This makes sense. That had specific goals and got the related industry on board with those goals early on.
Whether that group gets any traction in moving world governments and industrial might is another question. I hope they can.
If done in cahoots with other things like renewable energy technology being employed it actually could get real results.

This right here is what I'm ridiculing. Not Greta. Not climate change activism. This ridiculous over-earnestness. There's not going to be anything new to report on the Greta front until she completes her sea voyage. The next couple of weeks are going to be relatively boring in that regard. You take this banal observation and mistranslate it into a personal slur against Greta herself. A slur which you must then defend her against. You are not being serious. You're being melodramatic.
