Jeffrey Epstein arrested for child sex trafficking

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...two-guards-epstein-death-sources-say-n1085371

Michael Thomas and Tova Noel, who were on duty the night before Epstein was found dead by suicide Aug. 10, have been indicted by a grand jury with six counts tied to falsifying prison records.

The allegations are that Thomas and Noel sat at their desk, browsed the internet, and moved around a common area of the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan but never conducted any rounds that night.

If they were ordered by their superiors to not do any rounds, as the Qanoners like to claim, they could probably avoid these charges by explaining that.

Then they'd have to explain to their superiors why they threw them under the bus instead of being good little patsies as agreed.

A prison guard who's willing to go down for falsifying records is probably a lot easier to find and cheaper to buy than a prison guard who's willing to go down for murder, and way more convenient than going down for murder yourself.

I suspect that accepting these charges is an important part of the job they were hired to do.

I don't believe there is anything insidious about this, and there does not appear to be any evidence to the contrary. IMO, these two were simply negligent in their duty - they didn't care. We could even possibly find out that this was what they usually did while on duty, only on this occasion, the consequences were a suicide.

Also, there is nothing to indicate that even if they had done their rounds as their duties required, that Epstein could have been prevented from topping himself anyway. It only takes minutes to hang yourself. If Epstein was determined to kill himself, he was certainly smart enough to work out the guards' schedules for their rounds, and to time his attempt so that he hung himself a few minutes after one round so that he would be dead by the time of their next round.

The tabloids and pop doctors in general are sceptical of Prince Andrew's claims that a traumatic incident in the Falklands War triggered anhidrosis, he said because of an excess of adrenaline. Whilst physiologically, adrenaline has little to do with anhidrosis, one expert doctor did say that an excess of adrenaline can be related to shell-shock syndrome (fight or flight response, caused by the adrenal glands injecting the hormone into your bloodstream to equip you to do one or the other as a result of intense fear. In these instances of PTSD soldiers have been known to have been struck blind or dumb, even though there may no physical reason they should be, so the theory goes, Andrew's anhidrosis could be a similar severe psychological reaction: the excitement inducing events no longer trigger the fight-or-flight perspiration-causing reaction that it might once have done.

In addition, the Royal Family have the PKU gene (an excess of the phe protein which builds up causing unpleasant symptoms). One of the symptoms of phenylketunuria is eczema and this is a skin condition known to be prone to a lack of sweating.

The Prince says he doesn't drink, indicating he is on watch for this genetic mutation (none of the male Royal Family does, sticking to maybe a weak Martini). So he might not be lying when he says he is not prone to great sweating.

He might not be lying? No, he might not be. It seems an easy thing to demonstrate though. Where is his actual doctor

And none of the male Royal family drink? Hello? Prince Harry., anyone?

I don't see why he should release any personal medical information, except as required by court proceedings or other official government inquiry into the matter.

No. He doesn’t have to do anything of the sort. Similarly he doesn’t have to keep a straight face during the interview or show any empathy towards Epstein’s victims or show any contrition for his behavior. It’s just a PR catastrophe to say things that strike most people as unbelievable without offering any support for it. If that’s his strategy then why agree to the interview in the first place?

Fair point. It's definitely a stupid claim to make, especially since it's not like he's actually going to release his medical records. The Royal Family should have done a full-spectrum "cannot be reached for comment" on this one. Trying to play damage control just makes them look like idiots.

I'm pretty sure Andrew got busy with Epstein's girls, but whether he did or not... Epstein didn't kill himself.

You're dealing with the next level above a polymath. A polycalculus, or poly-diffy-Q situation. An expert in all fields. Just roll with it.

He had professionals telling him this would not work. But, he did not listen.

It would go a long way to disprove the idea that he could've been out partying and "sweating profusely" if he did release documentation, thus undermining the allegations against himself.

If his goal was to defend himself in the court of public opinion, he has to be able to prove what he's saying. Otherwise we can only take him on his words and then we are back at where we started: she said - he said

Edit: Actually, she does have a photo of him holding her. She has something that proves they actually met, which he has no explanation for other than apparently being unable to recall it. Given the nature of the photo, it's obviously not a meet-and-greet style formal event to mark the opening of a shopping center... more like a meet-and-****.

Meet-and-grope.

I can understand why people would be suspicious but I don't see any evidence. Then many of the people who say he was murdered seem to instantly make the massive logical leap to the Clintons.

Anyway. Prison guards charged.

They were supposed to be checking in on Epstein every 30 minutes, given he had been placed on suicide watch.
Instead, prosecutors allege, they spent the night sitting at their desks (4.5 metres away from Epstein's cell) browsing the internet, walking around the common area and even falling asleep for several hours.

Which would explain why there was no one monitoring him.

I was thinking today I bet Charlie is so relieved he is here at the moment and not having the media asking his opinion on this every 5 minutes back home.

"What do you know about Prince Andrews sweat problem your Royal Highness?"

"What is Prince Andrew's favourite Pizza topping your Royal Highness?"

I was imagining...

David Icke: “I was right about the lizards!”

Alex Jones: “I was right about Pizzagate! It’s all code!”

Various Republican CTs: “We were right about the Clintons!”

I wonder what island Liz will send Andy to as a Commonwealth representative with no leave date.

Fiji is nice.

Not much media.

Easy to think up an excuse given the Chinese/Yank frictional regional placement thing.

Delicately watercolour me utterly unsurprised.

When people say they 'don't drink' it doesn't meant they NEVER drink. They mean they do not habitually drink.

I don't drink. But if I go to a party and someone is proposing a toast then I will drink it.

When Prince Andrew says he doesn't drink I believe him. It is well-known they might just stick to the odd Martini, which you might say is 'drinking' but this woman Virginia claims he was plying her with vodka, which I doubt a non-drinker would have done. Would you drink a load of vodka if your companion is not also drinking?
