My wife just got back from the climate change march in Vancouver. (One day late because the ferries were cancelled due to wind.) She said it was great hearing Greta speak and seeing the huge number of people out to show their support.

Nobody is suggesting that people have to live in caves and stop travelling to solve this problem. But you know this, so cut out your ridiculous line that if people are responsible for any emissions at all, they are hypocrites.

You can keep your head in the sand and insist that irreversible change won’t happen in a relatively short time. Good for you. But keeping on ranting about people trying to do something is just stupid.

Don't get too upset, it's all they've got. By their reasoning, they drive a car so it must be okay for me to dump untreated sewage in their living room. There is a limit to their intelligence but no limit to their stupidity.

I remember there was some book, kind of important to the "skeptic" community, that had "don't panic" as rule one handed out with a towel. Pity that nobody gave it to Greta. Maybe puberty would have ensued.
