all that Trump is doing is taking away money that other Republicans need for their campaigns - and that might be the strategy.

At this pace, by next week he’ll be tweeting that the Doral was going to pay money to each nation to stay there.
 
Texas must be in play. I got a Trump robocall poll last night. Never had a single pollster call in the two previous national elections.

So who's going to pay not just the rooms and the food but the security? Something tells me Trump was never going to give that all away. Doral would be a nightmare for security. It is surrounded by homes and is in the flight path to Miami International Airport. They would be diverting dozens of planes. I also believe the G7 meeting was going to be in July. Why would you hold it at Doral in the middle of Summer?

Far cheaper to everyone would be to hold it at Camp David where security is easy. It is not only secluded, it is a permanent Navy base, manned by marines. It is also owned by the US government. By far the least expensive place to hold it. Obama held it there. It's that last part that probably bothers Donald.

Not sure if it is, but Republicans are afraid that it might. I just read that Texas Republicans are afraid they will lose the State House

I assume that's a typo on your part but I quite like it!
 
I just watched Trump give yet another 'all over the road' rambling, practically incoherent, self-aggrandizing, narcissistic, paranoid, Obama/Clinton/Democrats/Schiff hating, and full of lies spiel to the press. My jaw was literally hanging open several times. It's obvious he is very worried right now about impeachment and in full self-protection mode.

I have to admit to enjoying watching his discomfiture.
