Senator Rand Paul just wrote a great book, “The Case Against Socialism” which is now out. Highly recommended – as America was founded on LIBERTY & INDEPENDENCE – not government coercion, domination & control. We were born free, and will stay free, as long as I am your President!

The sheer ignorance on display is... normal, I guess.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's fairly standard practice. Sounds like the sort of thing that many property/real estate figures would do, not just Trump.

Maybe, but if you get caught, it's fraud and jail time.

The thing is that it still stirs up his base and reflects badly on the Democratic party with enough of the electorate to make it worthwhile whereas no-one who doesn't already hate him seems to mind President Trump's alleged security leaks.

I don't think the undecideds are quite as easy to fool as you think they are.

Trump claimed that America’s relationship with Italy goes back “thousands of years.”

Pompeo just said Trump makes his decision and then absorbs facts and data. I am not kidding.
I think we all knew this (except those of us who think that Trump Never absorbs facts) but or the SOS to say so publically.

Rumors that the Saudis are paying money up front for the deployment of US troops.
Trump has turned the US military into a bunch of Hessians.

Trump pretty much admitted it during remarks yesterday.

So we’re sending more troops to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is a very good ally, from the standpoint that we get along with them very well — a very important player in the Middle East. The relationship has been very good. And they buy hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of merchandise from us, not only military equipment. In military equipment, about $110 billion. It’s millions of jobs.

Now, with that being said, we are sending troops and other things to the Middle East to help Saudi Arabia. But are you ready? Saudi Arabia, at my request, has agreed to pay us for everything we’re doing. That’s a first.

But Saudi Arabia — and other countries, too, now — but Saudi Arabia has agreed to pay us for everything we’re doing to help them. And we appreciate that.

That's a lot of books Trump is reading.

Washington — Top Democrats said a meeting with President Trump and top Republicans on Turkey disintegrated Wednesday, as the president doubled down on his decision to withdraw troops from northern Syria, a decision that has now been condemned by a bipartisan resolution in the House, and by several Republican senators.

"What we witnessed on the part of the president was a meltdown, sad to say," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters on the White House driveway after meeting with the president. She later told reporters that she believes "we have to pray for his health because this was a very serious meltdown."

McConnell, who did not speak during the meeting, declined to comment to reporters about it.

"I didn't make any observations in the meeting. And I don't have any to make now," McConnell said.

The White House meeting came shortly after the House voted 354 to 60 to condemn Mr. Trump's decision to pull troops from northern Syria. The only votes against the resolution came from Republicans, but 129 Republicans supported the resolution.

It's incredible how quaint the accusation about her e-mails have become given how Trump has handled classified information, with nary a word from our resident conservatives. And yet the Hillary e-mails are STILL brought up.
I think, if you ask anyone on the Right, they'll confirm that nobody ever said it was about national security. That's just something people like you pretend so you can draw a false equivalence with Jared Kushner's use of a private email account to transact government business with a foreign country. What the Right has always been concerned about is the content of the emails, which must have been highly incriminating - otherwise they wouldn't have been deleted, would they? With military-grade software, no less. (The same grade everybody uses, of course, but still military-grade.) Details of the paedophile ring, the Clinton murders, Whitewater, the Benghazi murders, who knows what else? (Who apart from George Soros, who knows everything.)

There was nothing incriminating in the content of Jared Kushner's communications with a ruling family which his own family does a lot of business with, so there's no equivalence. M'kay? Nothing to do with Kushner only getting security clearance because he's the President's son-in-law. Nor anything to do with Kushner only being the President's son-in-law because Kushner Snr. is a property mogul (a dynastic marriage made in Hell, that one). Everyhing to do with Pizzagate, though. Infamata!

Nervous Nancy's unhinged meltdown!

The Do Nothing Democrats, Pelosi and Schumer stormed out of the Cabinet Room!

Do you think they like me?

I’m fighting for the American people, but the Democrats’ sole focus is fighting against ME with their fraudulent Witch Hunt. Go to http://StopTheMadness.GOP and tell Democrats in Congress that Enough is Enough!

@PressSec
@realDonaldTrump was measured & decisive today. @SpeakerPelosi walking out was baffling but not surprising w NO intention of participating in a mtg on nat’l security. Dem “leadership” chose to storm out & whine to cameras, everyone else stayed to work on behalf of our country.

Idiocracy Now

Like his phone call with Zelensky, Trump's letter to Erdogan is perfect. A beautiful, beautiful letter. The best.

Dem Source on WH meeting:

POTUS cut Schumer off and said that Gen Mattis was: “the world’s most overrated general. You know why? He wasn’t tough enough. I captured ISIS. Mattis said it would take 2 yrs. I captured them in 1 month”
