Just had a "conversation" with a Trumpkin on the Instagram account of a Norwegian journalist I follow. The Trump supporter asked angrily where Trump had lied, and where he had contradicted himself. We also got a tirade about how "socialists" were ruining Europe, how the mainstream media was doing horrible things to Trump, and how Trump in turn was pretty much the best human alive, with so much life experience, and a terrific negotiator, et cetera, et cetera.

Reinforces my theory that most of the current trumpkins are snowflakes residing in their safe, comfy little bubbles into which no uncomfortable facts about Trump get to enter.

Which is why even major scandals which would have ended most presidents don't affect Trump's ratings much, of course because in the eyes of his disciples, they're all just smoke and mirrors from the evil MSM.

I know, choir, preaching to, etc.

Trump seems to be determined to make 2020 an intelligence test and is betting the farm on America flunking.
 
Surely the shenanigans of Trump's own offspring make his attacks on Hunter Biden rather dangerous? Or does that not even occur to him?

The GOP has been eagerly embracing vindictiveness, race-baiting demagoguery and cruelty since the segregationist Dems started bailing out of their party in the 60s because it was becoming too damned equal rights and integrationist.

They knew a good thing when they saw it. Go for the bigot vote. It's solid and unwavering, and doesn't ask uncomfortable questions about things like ethics and the overall welfare of the country.

Caring about his own hypocrisy would be very out of character to him. So what if the whiny libruls point it out. They have whataboutisms and denial for that.

Last month, I wouldn't either. This month, I literally am. Here's a hot tip for anyone who thinks Trump will be president in 2021: "yes" shares are still going for $0.41 on predictit.org, with tremendous upside when the impeachment backlash kicks in.

What I find amazing is that Trump isn't much good at being a conman. That a duffus like that can hold the adoration of so many people says more about them than about him.

There's a reason why the Nigerian email scams seem so implausible and with lots of errors. Those who respond* have self-identified as greedy, gullible, and not averse to breaking the law.

You don't need to con all the people, just enough to achieve your goal, whether making money, or achieving political power.

If Republicans start arguing that profiting from one's father's position is a sin they'll find their own families coming under close scrutiny. Too close for comfort, in fact. This is how the real Establishment works, after all.

The Biden family was PAID OFF, pure and simple! The fake news must stop making excuses for something that is totally inexcusable. Sleepy Joe said he never spoke to the Ukrainian company, and then the picture came out where he was playing golf with the company boss and Hunter.....

....And by the way, I would LOVE running against 1% Joe Biden - I just don’t think it’s going to happen. Sleepy Joe won’t get to the starting gate, & based on all of the money he & his family probably “extorted,” Joe should hang it up. I wouldn’t want him dealing with China & U!

I'm looking forward to reading the psychological and sociological studies on Trump supporters that are bound to come out the coming years.
 
For the sake of workplace harmony, employees should identify themselves if they are or have ever been Trump supporters...

What were they up to?
Only by full disclosure can President @realDonaldTrump adequately defend against these accusations.

Also, House Republicans should have the ability to find out ALL THOSE involved in providing information to the whistleblower.

The whistleblower must disclose individual(s) they received information from so their biases -- if any -- will be disclosed.

It’s not right Democrats in the House helped the whistleblower prepare their complaint.
