Mississippi, there is a VERY important election for Governor on November 5th. I need you to Get Out and Vote for our Great Republican nominee, @TateReeves. Tate is strong on Crime, tough on Illegal Immigration, and will protect your Second Amendment....

....He loves our Military and supports our Vets! Democrat Jim Hood will never give us his vote, is anti-Trump and pro-Crooked Hillary. Get Out and Vote for Tate Reeves on November 5th. He has my Complete & Total Endorsement!

DEMOCRATS WANT TO STEAL THE ELECTION! #KAG2020

I know this is a bit dated in the fast moving thread, but what does the highlighted mean?

When and where does Trump expect the vote of the Governor of Mississippi to be useful?

Another in the list of "would have been a big deal in any other administration, but just too small in this one"?

President Xi should have a call to Trump

"Drumpy Trumpy how they hanging?
I hear that you want this Biden family investigated?
Of course we'd love to do that but with the finacial pressure caused by your tariffs money is tight, of course if something could be done about the tariffs....
Anyway just wanted to say hello. Have a perfect night.

Trump literally made a statement that China would need to work with his team to make a deal to help his team get the things they want when it comes to sanctions... 30 seconds before he made it pretty clear that he wanted China to show that Biden's corrupt. It's not quite at the sheer audaciousness of some of the other things, but... it's pretty darn close.

Anyways, in other random news...

Senators 'raise alarm' over Stephen Miller-led move letting border agents conduct asylum interviews

Sen. Kamala Harris of California leads a letter to top Trump administration officials “expressing concern and demanding answers” over a reckless, Stephen Miller-led decision allowing unqualified Customs and Border Protection agents—“as opposed to highly trained asylum officers within USCIS”—to conduct some asylum interviews of vulnerable families fleeing gang violence and persecution.

The administration claimed it was stripping authority from some of these trained and experienced officers to these unqualified agents in response to families waiting at the southern border, but as the senators noted in their letter, internal emails revealed Miller believes Border Patrol will be tougher on these families. “Miller and other administration officials have reportedly sought the change because they were outraged by the rate at which individuals passed their initial screenings.”

:jaw-dropp

Prison is what Miller and those other administration officials deserve, at best. Aiding, abetting, and outright encouraging truly immoral criminal behavior by government officials absolutely should never be allowed to stand in the first place. This is even going past that, though.

Some of the damage that's already been done, of course, is reflected in, well...

ICE starts new fiscal year with yet another death on its watch

Yup. People are being severely harmed and outright dying.

In other bad news...

Facebook Has Changed Its Rules to Allow Trump to Outright Lie in 2020.

Well, that's actually something of a final straw. Warren! Break them up!

In some actually "good" news, though...

Discovery! Baltimore’s Big Oil Lawsuit Set To Pry Open Industry’s Denial Documents

We've already got bits and pieces of it, but... may the floodgates be opened. May there also be severe consequences for their crimes against humanity.

Maybe when he says "vote" he's referring to submitting a proposed Constitutional amendment to the state legislature, and he's anticipating trying something big. Some legislatures have chosen not to wait for the Governor, and the House is unlikely to approve anything radical, but this is Trump and misunderstanding how the government functions is a given.

"Trump suggests the “pharmaceutical” industry, and other industries, could be behind what he describes as a “hoax”. "

As reported in The Guardian a little while ago. Eh? Any clues?

Is the pharma industry polluting his Purity Of Essence or something?

It's moving at the speed of Trump's tweeting. It used to be a week was a long time in politics.

“We’re lowering the cost of prescription drugs, taking on the pharmaceutical companies. And you think that’s easy? It’s not easy. They come at you from all different sides. I wouldn’t be surprised if the hoax didn’t come a little bit from some of the people that we are taking on"

He was speaking to a crowd at a retirement community, so he wants them to think he's being attacked for helping them.

Ah, thanks. So bat-**** crazy stuff then.

I heard an excerpt of this on the radio. I wondered if it was more calculated. That is to say, I wouldn't be surprised if Trump had worked behind the scenes to get China to investigate the Bidens, and now he's openly saying it to defuse inevitable future revelations. "I have nothing to hide. I publicly said the same thing two weeks ago. Fake news."

Hopefully it wasn't videod, rather embarrassing to see a couple of the staff gently moving him away, saying "come along dear, we've got the president coming today so I know that's got you excited but don't get overexcited, you'll wear yourself out. Remember it's Thursday so we've got ice cream at lunch time and you can have two scoops if you are good"

It has to the greatest impeachment ever, no one has ever had such a huge impeachment!!!

Everything has to be "huuuge" for Trump. Could be he is making up for other "shortcomings". They don't call him "Tiny hands Trump" for nothin.

Well, I think Trump's China statement just gave the Impeachment movement a whole new impetus.....He is openly asking foreign govenments to move against a domestic political opponent. If that is not abuse of power, what the hell iS?

I'd have loved to hear a reporter ask "And what does China get in return?" I'm absolutely sure he would have responded with something like "Well, for one I can lower their tariffs!"
