doesn't mean she can
Stupid narrative.
Greta isn't exploited
and she will have to spend far more time on what's left of the Earth than any "handlers".
I dont know, I think he stole it![]()
I hadn't noticed that before, but that makes it even better.
Stupid narrative.

Just because so many people can't think for themselves doesn't mean a sixteen year old girl can't.
Apparently it was the other way around. Now he knows that he got to her.
Far more time?
Not even a blink of the eye of the history of the planet...
Humans will be extinct before any of our piddling efforts to affect our environment for good or bad, will make any significant measurable difference..
What is she scared about?
Does she live near a beach?
Why?
She isn't even the real target. The real target is the people paying attention to her. And what do they see? How can they respond? They're caught between a rock and a hard place. If Trump's description is right, they can't fault him for saying it. But Trump's description is clearly wrong. And yet, to describe him as wrong doesn't work either, because that looks like an attack on Thunberg, and helps validate objections from the right about having put her in this situation to begin with.

Why?
Yes, because we weigh everything against a 5-billion-year timeline.Far more time?

Why do you think this? Humans are significantly changing the environment. Whether it's for "good" or "bad" is a values question. Chances are this big ball will continue to host various lifeforms no matter what people do, but that's a far cry from having no measurable effect.Humans will be extinct before any of our piddling efforts to affect our environment for good or bad, will make any significant, measurable difference..
...what?
Have you watched Thunberg's UN speech? She is explicitly not happy and is scared to death about the future, and she spent her entire speech trying to get people to understand that. So how would understanding it, as she wishes, be "an attack" on her?
Where do you find the evidence to support your position? I'd really like to know.
Some humans have developed or inherited a trait called "empathy"; an internet search will provide more details on this phenomenon.
Is that you, Donald T.?
How 16-year-old Greta Thunberg’s rise could backfire on environmentalists
There are also lots of observers expressing general alarm at what they see as an indoctrinated child being coerced by adults to make their political arguments with her youth as a shield from any criticism.
