No, this is incorrect, you get notice after notice because you have email notifications turned on in your Facebook settings. Your "friends" are not having the emails sent to you, you have effectively requested them from Facebook. If you want to stop getting emails, then change your notification settings.

Did I imply I didn't want the notices? I like the pictures my cousins post.

How is that relevant? Do we know for some odd reason that the cops friends and friends of friends have their FB notifications off? Or all their soooper secret 'do not share' blocks on?

No, you implied that the reason you got them was because they had selected one of public/friends/friends and their friends/nobody, but that's not the reason you get emails. The reason you get emails is because you asked for them.

No, we only know (or at least have been told) that the cop only shared his posts with his friends and their friends. Whether they would have received emails notifying them of his posts would depend on their individual Facebook notification settings. Most likely some of them did receive emails and some didn't.

That wouldn't make any difference. We're not talking about their Facebook posts, so their sharing settings would not be of interest.

Could we get back on topic? It's not hard. Cop posts **** on his FB page. It goes viral (if we count the news media attention).

People in the thread try to excuse that as not being public.

It's obviously public.

Defenders of cop's right to threaten legislators make all sorts of apologies: He didn't directly threaten them, he had the right to free speech, FB isn't a public forum for ... reasons .... did I miss any?

Miller has been known from his university politics days as a nasty piece of work a raging racist maniac. If there is any discussion about who has any mental illnesses, it would be better to look into Miller before looking into Donny.

I suspect what a lot of Americans don't realise is that Miller is the hand up the Trump sock-puppet, and the voice in Donny's earpiece. Trump is a total wet noodle, with intellect to match, without Miller pulling his strings. Miller is about the only one left of the original administration who is not "acting". And since he has been pretty much hidden behind the royal throne, he is perfectly willing to let Donny take the slings and arrows while he stays comfortably safe.

To be honest, if the Dems wanted to stop this whole racist thing, they would do better concentrating on impeaching Miller rather than Trump. He's the real target, and not immune from prosecution.

Calling Trump a Democrat of Republican presupposes that he has any ideology - an unsubstantiated assumption.

Trump will say whatever gives him ratings and will do whatever gives him money.
