In just one more year, Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is up for reelection and new polling by Public Policy Polling (PPP) is not looking good for the Kentuckian.

Per the poll, only 33 percent of registered Kentucky voters approve of his job performance. 56 percent disapprove and 11 percent of those polled are unsure. In addition, 32 percent of the people polled think that McConnell “deserves to be reelected” while a staggering 61 percent feel that it’s “time for someone new.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) received a whopping 50 percent unfavorable rating and is the only senator to have at least half of his constituency view him negatively.

Morning Consult’s Senate approval rankings are published quarterly, and Thursday’s results are its first insight into the 116th Congress....

McConnell also has the fourth-lowest approval rating among Republican voters only, with only 58 percent of GOP voters in his state giving him a nod.

You are assuming Trump has the balls to follow through on his bluster. He's been getting away with stuff only because his peeps are doing it for him despite his utterly incompetent public bumblings and outright lies. Not seeing that at all. They seem to be offering rational progressive ideas with pragmatic compassion. They seem to be offering to bring the USA up to the same level of government support for the US population as has long been common in the rest of the world. They don't seem to be offering "open borders", despite the Fox & Friends screams and rants to the contrary. In other words, they are offering adult solutions to real-world problems. As opposed to the idiotic and embarrassing blurtings of Trump and his narrow-minded, grasping, selfish, tyrannical supporters.

Pogrom? Perhaps you should consider what that is and who is proposing it...

First... pogrom? Seriously? What kind of drugged up haze would lead you to that claim? Uncritical acceptance of Republican attempts to claim that white is black and black is white, yet again? ETA - Quite seriously, I've heard far too many Republicans effectively endorsing pogroms and no Democrats at all. My experience has been quite similar for the next couple steps down the escalation ladder from that, too.

Second, as for voting Democrat, what, exactly, are your values? Do you like corruption? Vote Republican if you do. Do you like crime? Vote Republican if you do. Do you like big giveaways to wealthy Republican donors effectively out of your pocket? Vote Republican if you do. Do you like being lied to, brazenly and constantly? Vote Republican if you do. Do you hate science? Vote Republican if you hate it.

Well, what are your actual values? Chances are really good that the things that you actually want to happen are actually being championed by Democrats, in the real world, and not really by Republicans, despite Republican propaganda to try to reverse black and white in your eyes.
