Moderated Trump announces new concentration camps

I'm having trouble finding the video of the Obama admin lawyer arguing that soap and toothbrushes are not necessary components of a child's hygiene. Can someone help me out here?

It feels like there's also an element of "one European country did this specific terrible thing, so if you see anything ever done by any European country as being worth emulating, you're an evil hypocrite."
Kind of like "If you're so concerned about climate change, why are you living in a house, driving a car, and using the internet?"

Yes. Many of them have families they can stay with while awaiting asylum as well. That would save us taxpayers $$$ vs the 750/child/day that we are paying to detain them right now.
 
America has no concentration camps in the true sense of the word. We have temporary internment camps. These camps would not exist if the illegals didn't break our laws by coming here illegally. COmpared to what would happen to say in Red China if a mass of illegals crossed their borders with the same motivation to steal their jobs we are very kind.

Illegals bring crime and disease into America and we have to do something to contain it.

Ok but these so-called concentration camps are not extermination camps. They are in place to protect Americans from the child traffickers, murderers, and other criminals flooding our borders. I can't think of anything else that can be done to protect us.

ETA: or you mean the EU tacitly approves of what Italy is doing, then I'd like some evidence of this.

I still don't, get even if we just hit the "Change Reality" button and pretend all the whataboutism is actually true, what differences it makes.

We just aren't allowed to oppose something if we didn't oppose it before? Consistency is more important than doing good? Dead children are an acceptable sacrifice to lay at the alter of "Well the other side got to do it....?"

The whole "is it really even illegal?" argument is a farce, anyways.

If what we're doing right now is not illegal that in no way makes me feel better about it.

ETA: given the stipulations requiring the President to act on information about the treatment described here as well as even more direct issues with conspiracy to deprive persons of their civil rights (especially under color of law/as government personnel), I say drop Mueller issue and the tax returns pissing contest.

Impeach him for this. I think orchestrating a depraved enterprise on this scale certainly qualifies for high crimes and misdemeanors. No, it won't work. Of course it won't work. But it will fill the entire run up to the election with Republicans having to do their "I'm so outraged at this entire proceeding!" routine framed against the ever-increasing deluge of horror stories that will be pouring out of these facilities as the inevitable results of overcrowding and hygiene take their toll.

Here's the problem with all the lies being thrown about in this thread. That don't make sense even if you believe them and the response wouldn't make sense even if the lies were true.

They're all a bunch of disease addled criminals. Okay fine that's not true, but "Hits the I believe button." Fine let's alter reality so that's true. How is exactly keeping the children of disease addled criminals in cages without toothbrushes and soap help that situation at all?
