The people that Ice will apprehend have already been ordered to be deported. This means that they have run from the law and run from the courts. These are people that are supposed to go back to their home country. They broke the law by coming into the country, & now by staying.

When people come into our Country illegally, they will be DEPORTED!

Trump's explanation implies he had no idea how many people would be killed because he'd never asked before or been informed. So he'd approved this attack and had the planes "locked and loaded" without having any idea what the casualties would be? Nonsense. He's lying per his usual.

The article also implies that the military leaders didn't know the possible casualties, which I find really hard to believe.

I would say it implies they knew what the casualties would be but didn't tell either Trump or the general he asked about it.

Here's the partial interview. The time mentioned was 30 minutes before the attack when he asked the "General" how many Iranians would be killed. The "General" replied "Sir I'll get back to you on that." So obviously he (the General) checked the current intelligence available and then gave Trump the 150 deaths number. At that point President Trump called it off as it was not proportional.

Keeping in mind no operation is allowed to proceed without the President's OK, no planes were in the air. My assessment is spot on according to the linked interview.

Nope. In order for your assessment to be "spot on", you'd have to believe that the general was not being kept advised of changing conditions including the increased projected death toll without him specifically asking for an update. You are bending over backwards trying to explain away an obvious lie by Trump.

I already answered that question above. Trump finally made a right decision but not for the reason he gave. He wanted or was advised to call off the strike at the last minute and used this excuse because he thought it made him look good. If he had said, "The general updated me at the last minute on the projected death toll increase and I decided it wasn't proportional," THAT would have made him look good. Instead, what it did was make him look like the self-aggrandizing, narcissistic liar he is.

The moment of actual news reporting on Fox. Yes, though, they're generally well regarded. The problem with FOX is the opinion programs masquerading as news, the disinforming of the public, the clear partisan bias that's been an integral part of it since its inception, the divisiveness, the unwarranted trust that too many give to it...
