Remember when Trump said he was going to fight for LGBTQ rights around the world? I guess the support is going to be covert.

Administration bans US embassies from displaying rainbow flags during Pride Month.

It came as a harsh blow this month when US embassies around the world received instructions from their bosses in Washington not to raise a rainbow flag -- a symbol of gay rights -- on the "public-facing flagpole" during this month's LGBT Pride celebrations.
The flag might fly elsewhere, perhaps in an inner embassy courtyard, as if the US were embarrassed to stand up for equal rights.

It's unclear whether this order to embassies comes from Trump or from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

Embassies in Israel, Germany, Brazil and Latvia had requested to fly the pride flag alongside the American flag on their embassy flagpoles and were denied.

Pence declared it to be "the right decision".

What led you to believe it can’t get any worse?

In general anything can always get worse.

In specific, the shadiness of the Trump administration can always get worse i.e. more can be uncovered.

I just read the letter.

It includes this bit
Over the last 25 years, U.S. food and agricultural exports to Canada and Mexico have more than quadrupled under NAFTA – growing from $9 billion in 1993 to nearly $40 billion in 2018. NAFTA has significantly helped create a reliable, high-quality supply of food products for U.S. consumers, while supporting more than 900,000 American jobs in food and agriculture and related sectors of the economy​

So President Trump is praising a letter that says he was full of **** when he described NAFTA as the worst trade deal in the history of this country (Sept 2016).

This is the kind of fundamental misreading of reality that Trump has been famous for all his life. When it was his football team that tanked, okay. When it was his airline that collapsed, so what. When it was his Atlantic City casinos that went into melt down, have a nice day. But now, this is the U.S. economy he's playing with. If he screws that up we all suffer.

Fingers crossed we make it to 11/03/2020 in one piece. Knowing the full damage Trump has done will only become apparent in the years after he has left office.

Why is it i bristle everytime i see that: "Our Patriot Farmers". What about us "Patriot Estimators" or "Patriot Engineers" or even "Patriot Production Control" people? Huh?

(eta) This statistic appears to be accurate. It is unfortunate that any time The PDJT "quotes" numbers I assume it is BS.

Every time he uses "Great Patriot____________" he reminds me of the typical Soviet Russia rhetoric.
