Oh, just stop. This ISN'T her. There IS a Mueller Report on Trump. There IS a report on Trump's lies and his failed attempts to obstruct justice.
Stop with the crap.

ETA: If a report like this emerged on Clinton, I'd be saying she needs to resign or get impeached. But no matter how many investigations the GOP threw at her over 3 decades, nothing even close to what Trump has done was ever discovered. Get over it.

Get over what? You don't know what side I'm on.

No, of course it's not too much to ask. Where did I even hint or suggest it should be otherwise? Other people (generally) lose credibility when caught in lies (I say generally because Trump). HuckSand should be held to the same standard. Once you get past my sarcasm that's pretty much what I just previously posted. It looks to me like you're the one with the double standard who thinks we should let Sarah slide this time, because Trump.

Nope, I know as White House Press Secretary lying and spin is part of the job (while not under oath). I just pointed out that there may have been a failed attempt to set her up (Sanders) for a perjury charge. (Process crime)

No, your interpretation represents a missing fact. When asked about the "countless" word at a press conference, she twice clarified that she meant "a large number." That was a lie.

If she has committed a crime, shouldn't she be held accountable? I'm certain if she has lied under oath there will be consequences. Seems like many were burned for lying under oath during this investigation. However, if she lied as part of her job, well she's no different than any other White House Press Secretary, ever.......

Even if it wasn't different (I'm not arguing this point right now) that doesn't justify her actions.

What you do is claim that both sides are evil when your side is found to be wrong.....

I didn’t use the word “evil.” I don’t think they are evil. I have always thought both sides are more concerned with winning elections than with actual governing. Now I’m sure of it.

It’s not a talking point, it’s my opinion. Disagree with me, I get it; but, your response here isn’t terribly helpful.
The Democratic Party has policies based on research. Do I always agree, no, but they don't dismiss science as quackery, piss all over our allies, suck up to dictators etc. They don't reject every call to action on climate as a Chinese hoax or insist we need to bring God back into schools. I'll stop there as it doesn't have much connection to Mueller but even if Democrats are partisan (as parties tend to be) they're not going out of their way to take irrational policy positions. YMMV but that makes them preferable in my book.

Why did you bother with the idiotic "countless" argument, when in fact you just don't care how dishonest this administration is?

Which 'side' stoops lower in their striving for power? Or abusing their power? For a reasonably unbiased first appreciation, look at the number of criminal convictions over a given period of time to see which of the two stands far ahead in that field. Unless the claim is that the offenders are victims of a system that apportions disproportionate zeal in prosecuting that one 'side.'

In a perfect World, lying is never justified. In politics, it comes with the territory.

Chris B.

Strongly disagree.

Even if I didn't disagree, this lying isn't political. The purpose of this lying was ego flattery, protecting a weak person, etc.

A dishonest administration? Can you point to an honest one we've had? I thought they were all dishonest on one point or another. Just keeping it real that there is no "holier than thou" in spite of what many falsely try to believe.

The "countless" argument was merely to point out a tactic. Kinda like what the definition of "is" is.......

I disagree. I think the White House Press Secretary has a definite political reason to spin facts. They all do and they all have. But they can't spin any while under oath.

Not binary. There have been adminstrations that can be characterized as not dishonest.

You are obfuscating. I said Sanders lies were not political. You are saying that press secretaries have a political reason to spin facts.

First, she isnt spinning facts. She is lying.

Second, the argument wasn't that press secretaries have a political reason to spin fact. It was that Sanders lied to stroke egos. You are trying to create a strawman by making my position into something it is not.
