As Rex Tillerson (of all people!) recently observed, those Tweets are for Trump's followers. For the ones that, sad to say, get most of their information, and form their beliefs, pretty much based on the Tweets.

Sad! ;)

Oh, well that probably explains the attitude our primary Trump Sycophant

What's happening:
Some top officials are suddenly much more attuned to the political fallout from the Mueller investigation and are growing more anxious about Trump's re-election prospects, according to people close to the president. And on the outside, some hardcore Trump allies — who have mostly accepted his denials about Robert Mueller — were rattled by the specificity of the Friday night revelations by the special counsel and by federal prosecutors.

Well, if that specificity rattles them, they will be utterly shocked when Mueller gives us some actual detail!

No one thinks he's innocent. They're beginning to doubt he'll be able to continue getting away with it. The principled conservatives have long since abandoned him, or never supported him to begin with. All that is left is the opportunists and they'll be sure to jump ship before it's too late.

It's going to get much worse before it gets better. The more "respectable" people will leave or be fired and replaced with lackeys of increasing incompetence and maliciousness. Trump doesn't strike me as a "suicide in the bunker" type". He'll fight to the bitter end and do as much damage as possible on the way out.

Not that it changes your particular quote, but RT is Russian state media. It's the Russian equivalent of Fox, if Fox were actually owned and run by Trump himself.

Actually that comparison has some flaws. I've been watching RT every day now along with France 24 which is an EU focused news. Pretty much what RT has on leans very liberal and not in a bad way, with the exception of any stories involving Russia which have an obvious pro-Russia slant. Fox seems to fawn all over Trump where RT is not fawning all over Putin or Russia all the time.

You can tell there is Kremlin oversight, but a lot of the reporting is more independent. There are lots of things wrong with US politics and they do carry those stories, but it's not all propaganda all the time.

Try Lee Camp Redacted Tonight for a taste of their satire. Plenty of Youtube videos online to get a good sample.

They have Headline News about 30 minutes of every hour. The other 30 minutes is either something like Redacted, or some pretty decent documentary shorts. I'm not a fan of some of them like Jesse Ventura's program, but some are actually pretty good.

Trump Tweets

James Comey just totally exposed his partisan stance by urging his fellow Democrats to take back the White House in 2020. In other words, he is and has been a Democrat. Comey had no right heading the FBI at any time, but especially after his mind exploded!

“I don’t care what you think of the President...it cannot bleed over to the FBI...Comey is confirming there is bias in the FBI...”

Just like other CTers, some of those Trumpkins believe it's the deep state doing all this to their hero Trump.

If Trump pardons Manafort, does he get the seized assets back?

I don't think so. That is a civil matter of the U.S. v. the assets or something like that, as I understand it.

Persons not even charged with a crime have had assets seized.

I'm not sure if I'd go as far as to say they think he's actually innocent. More like they think it's just politics as usual and he's being singled out. Kind of like if you get pinched for speeding when you're just basically keeping up with the flow of traffic. Though for that analogy to work for Trump that would have to be some pretty dang fast trafic. Not to mention given this groups propensity for announcing and talking about intentions better kept mum about. There's the possibility (in terms of the analogy) of a tape of him saying "I'm going to try doing 100 MPH down the thruway later".

Another lie by Trump. Comey never mentioned Democrats. He urged voters to stop Trump from being re-elected.

Oh good! I wonder if he and Trump understand that?

Yes they do - one of the properties is an apartment in Trump Tower NY. It now belongs to the DOJ.
Manafort's plea alone put $40-45 million into the Treasury; so even if Trump hadn't been lying about the probe costing $30 million, it still would have made plenty of money for the taxpayers.

that perspective is still nonsensical, even though it sounds knowing, not-naive, and therefore legitimate. If Trump is being singled out, let’s hear the case for Obama violating the emoluments clause, and why didn’t the Benghazi hearings result in a prosecution, etc.
