That's really quite bizarre, considering:
- That Republicans consider themselves to be the "pro-military" party
- Republicans tend to get more support from military people than the Democrats

Granted, the other Former Presidents were not at today's ceremony, either. I do hope they take the opportunity to talk as a group privately to the current one.
I'm still wondering if he's going to try to weasel out of attending the service, though. What excuse could he use? Severe intestinal distress? Heart issues?
That'll be Pence after he's installed in the Office.

He probably changed his mind mid-sentence and has cycled between the two a dozen times today already.

Mom was watching Fox this week which had wall-to-wall Bush coverage, and I wondered how Trump took that ... if he was resentful that it took the focus off him for 48 hours.
I imagine him wondering how to get people to talk about him like that while he's still alive. If he is able to consider himself mortal at all.
