It's going to be interesting to see if Trump will attend Bush's funeral. The Obamas will certainly be invited as they are good friends of the Bush family. Trump...eh...not so much. Trump may send Melania in his stead. I'd love for him to be frozen out of another Republican politician's funeral.

I'd love to see that too, but I don't think the Bush family would pull a stunt like that... I'm sure they don't want to turn dad's funeral into a Trump media circus, which is what would happen if they 'uninvited' the Trumps.

I think you're tainting Benedict Arnold unfairly. He was just trying to give away West Point. Trump is trying to give away the country.

Arnold actually had a lot of good reasons to have a beef with the US Continental Army. He was constantly being overlooked by his superiors while others stole the credit for his work and successes. In the end he just got fed up with being so poorly treated that he figured the British would treat him a lot better.

It looks like Trump will be attending the funeral. As not only the Obamas, but the Clintons, were good friends of the Bush family and will likely attend, this could be interesting. Normally I'd expect any other POTUS to act accordingly, but one never knows with the current idiot POTUS.

Yes, it's an ongoing discussion here in Canada and most Canadian news outlets have agreed that they will be, for the most part, referring to the renewed trade agreement as the "New Nafta" rather than attempting to verbally formulate Trump's idiotically unpronounceable acronym.

On paper it will be referred to as the "USMCA", but verbally it will be the "New Nafta".

Trump, Flynn and his compatriots are not unlike Arnold in that they all turned against the our allies, and the American people entirely for their own personal gain. At the risk of retaliation and rightly so from the Bush clan at a significant moment, perhaps it's time his minders stopped covering for him and let him play out and take full responsibility for his own public catastrophes. His Belleau Wood and Armistice Day debacles went a long way to losing all credibility. If he completely bolloxed up a US presidential funeral, it would reveal to the world and the rest of the USA what an absolute ******** he is, and would be the end of him and his fascist limpets.
