I followed the link; Snopes says it's for real, but I'm still not entirely convinced, if for no other reason than it's hard to believe that anyone (here, the designer of the thing) could be so self-unaware as to say this with a straight face:
And no, this is not a joke. I want it to be perfectly clear that the men who served in our military spoke from their hearts in the Trumpy Bear commercial. Any vilification of a veteran should never be tolerated.

I mean...he does remember his draft-dodging hero's vilification of McCain, doesn't he? Surely he's not under the impression that an ex-Marine who drives around with Trumpy bear on his motorcycle is more deserving of respect than someone who spent over five years as a POW?

They are going for pretty much the same crowd as the people who sell $5 "prayer hankies".

It's tough to be too outrageous for that market.
 
Trump skipped the memorial in France. There were expectations he would visit Arlington upon his Veterans Day return, but he didn't.

If Obama did that, never mind impeachment, they'd lynch the ******.

You need to label tweets obviously written by someone other than Trump as “Trump” Tweets.

The only reason I haven’t seen Peter Popoff’s miracle water ads in awhile is because political ads and now Xmas ads have pushed them off for now.

They're selling them to willing supplicants and acolytes. Those people don't even have a passing acquaintance with "facts". They trotted out old WWII, Korea, VN patriotic memes, put a dead ferret wig and a flag around the bear and are appealing to basic ignorant-of-evidence emotional reactions.

The stupid-assed bear has been available for over a year. I'm sure there's a niche market for the people who want to cover them with pitch, set on fire and hurl with a trebuchet into a neighbor's yard, but mostly it's being sold to those people we're not supposed to call "stupid" because it hurts their feelings.

He knows that Putin will at least pretend to treat him with respect.
 
So Trump skips the ceremony in France. He skips the ceremony on Veterans Day at Arlington. He asks that overseas military ballots not be counted. He is trying to cut VA spending.


Why would anyone in the military support this guy?
