Not many people do. She reminds me of some of teachers I had when I was younger. Smart, nice and yet for some reason, annoying. And I really believe it's that squeaky voice.

I have for a long time subscribed to the idea that presentation and relatability has more to do with winning elections than it should have.
 
Hilary’s voice it was a cadence issue with me. Just sounds a bit like a droning voice actor reading microwave instructions. I understand what she is trying to do but it has issues.

Still, both are preferable to Trump, who’s tone and voice are so annoying that he could be telling us truthfully that he is resigning and will admit his criminal activities and I’d still want to hit the mute button.

Nah, plenty of people with all the correct documentation or following the proper process for refugees have been targeted. It’s pretty clear at this point that his main goal is to keep out immigrants with dark colored skin.

Topical right wing MO. Attack potential Democratic candidates as early as possible regardless of whether there is any merit to the attacks. This creates the impression that they are “as bad as their opponent” running against them even of the charges are long debunked, because they scream the accusation then whisper the correction

It’s one of the main tools Republicans are using to undermine US democracy and position in the world. As long as people continue to fall for it the US is doomed to be a war torn collection of third world countries 100 years from now.

I can't stand listening to Trump either, but it's because he's a liar and an idiot. He's either saying something blatantly false or moronically stupid. I have a big enough problem when Joe Schmoe says something dumb, but it's worse when I know the moron is the President.

For me it's all of it. It's the annoying tone and cadence, and also the lies, condescension and bigotry.
 
Unless the Democrats forget about Clinton, Warren, Biden for 2020 they have no chance.

That caravan is full of people who would like the opportunity to seek asylum. Trump is terrified. He is telling his people to be terrified. Not of mobs rushing the borders, but of asylum seekers.

That is like being afraid of Mormon's walking around your neighborhood. They aren't breaking down the door, they are just asking if they can come in. You can say no if you're not interested. Or you can meet them at the door with an AK-47.

I get what you're saying about the cadence, but I really think it's the highlited part. The tone and the cadence tells you that it is Trump speaking which informs you that you're about to hear something awful which in turn makes one cringe at the tone and cadence.

Does that make sense?

I find the hose works on anyone selling religion. I've always wished I was wearing a Devil's costume when they stop. I imagine inviting them to switch teams.
