Explain, then.

My suggestion is that you explain why you rejected the detailed explanation in the article as "nonsense," and the fact that y'all have Czech heritage ain't it.

Give it a shot, show you read the actual articles I have posted it repeatedly, explaining why her stunt is racist..

Democrats should be busy re-branding every Republican concept with a poisonous word. Think of the brilliance of re-branding "Obama" into an actual bad word, where "Obama Care" becomes an insult? The fact they were able to do that is amazing.

Instead Dems shoot themselves in the foot and then pretend that the resulting dance is performance art.

Sorry for the cynicism.

It is not racist to declare that there are certain DNA markers consistent with a particular racial heritage because that is simply a statement consistent with non-racist objective scientific theories. Duh.

It does not follow that she is a Cherokee or a legitimate member of any other tribe. It does not follow that she suffered any persecution from her heritage. It is a simple, factual statement.

Are you suggesting that simple statements about one's heritage based on DNA are irreconcilably racist? Going the full post-modern position, are you?

Aww, bless the poor dear.
I think he thinks he's 'using their own language against them.'
Like it's some sort of voodoo*.

*I apologize for my abject racism against any and every syncretic African religion and derivative thereof.

At a 2012 press conference Warren stated that her family knew her grandfather was “part” Cherokee because “he had high cheekbones like all of the Indians.”

I think what you meant to write: "A false statement on its face : She made no such claim>'

Well if her family knew her grandfather was part Cherokee, then that is not a claim, its a fact. (you can call it an "alternative fact" if you like, as it more suits your philosophy)

The reality is that at no time did Warren claim any tribal affiliation with the Cherokee.

Oh dear, your task was to address the actual explanations in the actual article that i posted that is headlined:

"Elizabeth Warren's 'part' Cherokee claim is a joke, and a racist insult to Natives like me"

And declaring that you don't agree does not do that. I assume you at least understand that?

So take the arguments in the article and explain why they were wrong.

Or don't, none of her other apologists have or will dare to do so.

No, you don't get off that easily

You were NOT referring to her claimed Native American ancestry when you disparaged her alleged decent from Andrew Jackson (which, by the way, YOU WERE WRONG ABOUT ANYWAY!!!)

For pity's sake STOP DIGGING!!!

Let me put it in baby steps.

Your ancestor was an Atlantic slave trader, inflicting pain, misery, displacement and dislocation to African human beings and stripped them of all humanity, turning them into livestock with pet livestock names.

Fast forward to 2018. You run for presidency and it turns out you got into Harvard by playing the 'ethnic minority' card because either (a) you heard family talk your ancestor raped African slaves, or (b) you or someone in your family noted there was African in the DNA. So, you are trophied by Harvard as its 'first man of color'.

You persist with this theme sending off recipes for Fried Buffalo Wings for the Southern Soul Cook Book, signed A Smart-Cookie (African).

Someone calls you out on your claim of being an African-American. You take a DNA test for public consumption and it turns out your DNA is >1% African.

You double down and persist in your claim, despite angry African-Americans being furious that you deign to represent them.

You fail to mention how your slave-trader ancestor made you privileged in the first place, on the backs of murdered, starved, beaten, raped kind gentle Africans who worked for free for generations and now you are claiming to be one of them.

Now you understand.

Good.

1) Warren says her family told her she has native ancestry.
2) DNA test indicates she has native ancestry. consistent with her family history

Wow, that is indeed contorted.

A minor addition.

She also didn't attempt to claim any benefit for this ancestry. Just repeating that her ancestor suffered bigotry within the family because of the supposed (and almost certainly true) belief that they were "part Indian".

Democrats will never admit that Fauxcahontas isn't an Indian or a "woman of color". Looking forward to the upcoming parts 20-30 in a year or two.

harvard did. She let harvard do that. Did that cost another minority a job?

One of the several articles I posted from native Americans made this exact point...

but right now I am absolutely convinced that Warren defenders have not read a single one of them, lets they would not be making ridiculous and racist statements like "She also didn't attempt to claim any benefit for this ancestry. Wait! Did I miss the big announcement that Warren is running for the presidency? People are speculating that she may run. And even if she does run, what the hell does that have to do with your bringing up what an ancestor did 200 years ago as if that has crap to do with her.

She is not claiming to be an ethnic minority now. She checked that box in freaking 1986...32 years ago. She has listed herself as "white" ever since. Your need to disparage Warren and tell lies about her is just pathetic.

She is the author of her own disparagement.

It is a mere scientific fact that her DNA has certain markers associated with Native American ancestors. It's barely conceivable that this is due to, I don't know, random variations, but the overwhelmingly probable explanation is that she has Native American ancestors.

Now, you tell me as clearly as you can (without reference to others' claims) how the statement of this simple fact counts as racism.

She hasn't lived as a Native American, nor faced the racism that some Native Americans face. This is all granted. This is not the issue at hand. The question is whether noting that one's DNA suggests (strongly) that one has a Native American ancestor is, by itself, racist.

Seems to me that it is not racist. It's simply acknowledging a fact based on the best and most reliable relevant scientific theories of the day. In the same way that, were I to take a similar test and find, say, Siberian ancestry, it would not be racist to say so.

There is no evidence for the highlighted and plenty of evidence that it is not true. After so long in this debate, if you can't get that basic fact right I have to wonder why you are posting here.

Not really. Its what some people do; especially conspiracy theorists and rabid alt-righters. When they are wrong, and are shown to be wrong, they double down on the wrong. When they are called on it, they double down again. They really can't help themselves.

Do they sell shovels too? Vixen's must have just about worn his one out by now... he'll be needing a new one.

I order'em 'Just In Time' from the Hitachi tribe.

I GET it, you don't want to address the reasons that actual Native Americans have given, you just want to keep repeating your grossly uninformed understanding of what their actual explanations are.

Native Americans have explained it is racist, you don't agree.

They should be mad about 1990s Warren. But 2010s Warren is not making the same claim as 1990s Warren.
