I do think that you are one data point of someone turned off by the Democrats' behavior, but there are just as many - probably more - Democrats who approved. If the goal was actually to block Kavanaugh specifically, I don't know what else they could have done. I know I said go ahead and confirm him, let us limp forward from here, but bottom line I think he was a terrible appointee. The country could have done much better. He's extremely immature. Not what I want in a judge. If he can make me nostalgic for Rehnquist, he's probably pretty bad.

There is such a thing as criminal libel. But if you're saying Kavanaugh should sue Travis, you'd have to take that up with Kavanaugh.

Note that if Travis believes Kavanaugh is a rapist, it's not libel.

People being responsible for themselves is not cruel. It's how you should live your life. Of course your opinion is going to be different.

I paid for both kids to be born in full. There was no insurance company involved. As for my kids getting medical care, they had the best.

Yes, two of the most outspokenly "self made" company owners I've worked for had inherited successful small businesses from their parents at the beginning of a time of massive growth in their sector. But that was irrelevant to their success, apparently.
