New SCOTUS Judge II: The Wrath of Kavanaugh

ETA: Brietbart is working overtime to discredit Ronan Farrow's reporting on Ramirez's allegations, but Farrow continues to provide corroborating information

The media, including partisan media, will continue to investigate. Kavanaugh will be confirmed, but it won't be over.

If they actually find convincing evidence of assault, I think he would even be impeached. Of course, as justice rehnquist noted in his book, impeachment is ultimately a political process, so it might depend on who wins the intervening elections.

You're gullible enough to fall for that old trick? Actually, I guess I'm not surprised--It's the big dog, after all. Confused by Asterisks. LOL

*You can't see this but it would piss you off if you could...Yeah...Just trust me.* LOL

*4chan*

Oh geez, the triangle truthers are going to be heartbroken over this.

Four of Kavanaugh's high school classmates corroborates his claims that "The Devil's Triangle" was actually a drinking game and gave details of how it was played.

Two college roommates of a Kavanaugh classmate was taught "The Devils Triangle" drinking game by said Kavanaugh prep school classmate that he learned in high school.

So, every few pages I chime to remind folks of Kavanaugh's lies last week, and that *that's* the reason he should be disqualified for the privilege of serving on our highest court. No one seems much interested in the lying from the man, only the stuff that's difficult to corroborate from the women. Okay, carry on not caring that this lying pile of poo is about to be confirmed to the US Supreme Court.
(Note: Democratic staffer doxxing people? Swetnick fabricating her story? Again, if these are true, throw the book at them.)

THAT! I don't care if Kav got drunk to the point of passing out every day he was in high school or college. I don't care about him using the terms that were written in his yearbook. What I care about is his lying under oath..

It infuriates me that the FBI did not bother to talk to Jamie Roche, Kav's Yale roommate, who said that he saw Kav drunk to the point of vomiting
and being incoherent many times. He personally heard Kav use those yearbook terms and said they most certainly did not mean what Kav claimed.

I care about Kav's angry and belligerent behavior during the hearing. I care about his obvious partisanship and ridiculous "Clinton" allegation.

Kavanaugh has become such a divisive and controversial figure that his confirmation to the SC is beyond logic and common sense. Trump and the GOP have decided to stand and die on Kavanaugh Hill because they simply want a "win". They do not care about anything else and certainly not what is best for the country. What is best for the entire country is to withdraw this highly damaged nominee and present a judge that can be acceptable to the majority of the people of this country. As a Democrat, I would have no objection to a moderate/centrist justice. In fact, I would applaud it as I believe most of the country would.

"The Triangle Truthers." :dl:

Conspiracy theory probably isn't the best terminology, that's why I've changed it to boofer troofer.

A "troofer" is a conspiracy theorist, so I'm not sure what distinction you think you’re making.

Also, you've explicitly referred to... whatever this is as a conspiracy and have defended that claim several times.

So what is the alleged conspiracy theory? What is the underlying conspiracy?

What did Kavanagh mean when he said boofing?
What did Bush mean when he said "I saw an airplane hit the tower"?

As I informed you the last time you made this nonsensical comparison, these 9/11-related questions are part of a larger conspiratorial narrative.

The “boofing” question is… just a question. Why do you think it’s related to some larger conspiracy theory? And what is that conspiracy theory?

Another portrait of young Kav and his rarefied upbringing:
The story of President Trump’s embattled choice for the Supreme Court, who could learn the fate of his troubled nomination Thursday, is a classic Washington tale of a young man who grew up surrounded by people in high places, keenly aware of protecting his image. He told a girlfriend in college that he didn’t plan to buy stocks as an adult because he had to avoid conflicts if he wanted to follow in his mother’s footsteps as a judge.

Kavanaugh’s story is also one of the power and insularity of wealth. He grew up in an idyll of country clubs and beach retreats, private schools and public prominence. The only child of a lobbyist and a judge, he had parents who pushed him hard, teachers who assured him that he faced no limits, and friends whose families knew the art of making problems go away quietly.

That Kavanaugh would achieve greatness seemed certain. Some of his classmates called him “The Genius.” They liked him because he was smart and fun. Women found him thoughtful and empathetic. Men said he was a guy’s guy — a walking encyclopedia of sports, a good pal, always up for a beer.

But again and again as he rose to the pinnacle of official Washington, Kavanaugh has given those charged with examining his life and character reason to pause and dig deeper.

Maybe there needs to be a broader discussion of how we define the "meritocracy" and how it defines itself. Are the best lawyers and judges in America really all graduates of Harvard and Yale? Or do those people maybe have a bias toward people who resemble themselves?

The details don't matter. The point is to associate liberals with the truther movement and then have LOLs.

What a weirdly tone deaf association to make from people who push actual conspiracy theories and put an actual Alex Jones fanboy conspiracy theorist in the White House.

I dont think the investigation into the sexual assault was incomplete or that further investigation into that would be more illuminating. I think it was a virtual impossibility to corroborate or refute Dr. Ford's testimony.

What makes it a sham is they knew that going in. That the investigation would be a show to present how fair the GOP is before their predetermined vote. If instead they investigated Kavanaugh's truthfulness, I'm confident that the conclusion would be different.

THAT!

It's supposed to get under your skin. If it doesn't, a new tactic will be presented. Because smug, condescending know-it-all liberals must be made to suffer.

JAQing off then. Got it.

No, they're not just "JAQing off".

They want actual answers because they think Kavanaugh is lying.

See, “JAQing off” is something conspiracy theorists do to push their conspiracy theories while dodging responsibility for the claims inherent in their questions.

Here’s an example of what that looks like:
Donald Trump said:
Why doesn't he show his birth certificate?

As someone who voted for the conspiracy theorist I just referenced, I'm surprised you didn't know that.

Hmm... interesting.

All it does it cause me minor puzzlement and then ultimately feelings of pity.

Neither do you. So why do you think their opinion is relevant?

I've already answered that. Why do you ask a question as if it hasn't been answered yet.

But I'll take that as an admission that your comments about liberal bias were simple fabrication.

You've only appealed to their job title, but that's a pathetically weak argument.

I'll remember that the next time you cite professsionals in their fields.

Heitkamp comes out and says she is a "no"!

A few hours later its announced that the National Republican Committee is cancelling some ad buys in ND.

translation; she is toast.
