I have no illusions or delusions. Trump is not going to be tried for illegal campaign contributions despite this being one. He's also not going to face impeachment proceedings because of this. What I do see is that this provides reason to investigate other potential wrongdoing.

There is a mountain of things that Trump managed to keep hidden in the last election that will be in jeopardy of being discovered now. Cohen's plea is leading to SDNY widening it's investigation and New York State and City officials looking into the Trump Organization and Foundation. This will lead to subpoenas into financial information.

This all begs the question. Can it weather the scrutiny?

Drop a pebble in a pool and pressure waves spread out : drop the Presidency into Trump's circle and scrutiny waves spread out. Schemes that have sufficed for entire careers can be swamped overnight.

That's just it. There have been people around Trump who have made small fortunes as a result of their association with him. If any of that was potentially illegal they will be questioned about it and possibly see the screws applied to them.

I've seen this kind of thing up close. It ain't pretty. Few if any have the resources to do battle with SDNY. Those small fortunes get eaten up pretty fast by attorneys that charge hundreds of dollars an hour. They will quickly be dealing and spilling their guts.

I can't wait to see the fit Trump has when they subpoena his financials.

I told you: I won't read thousands of post in the hope that you're telling the truth.

You could easily have repeated your alledged explanation by now, but it's obvious by the effort you're putting into not doing it that you have, in fact, never made it.

You have no readon to believe Cohen is not guilty of this crime he admitted to. End of story.



You can say "'k" or "oh dear" now, since you always do that when you lose.
 
What is hilarious is that CNN is sticking to the story that Lanny is changing his story rather that admitting that they lied when they claimed he had no comment.

Lanny is impossibly doing more damage to Mueller and CNN that I thought possible.

Lanny blurted out that Cohen could testify about Trump's foreknowledge of the Trump Tower meeting with Russian foreign agents.

Seth Abramson says that's a mistake that'll hurt his negotiation with Mueller, he needs to clam up.

Lanny clams up.

Like that whole Trump is in “deep doo doo” because of RICO claim that was made, and that could have been totally avoided had its advocate done the slightest bit of research?

Although it was pretty cool that a person that did do research came along and absolutely destroyed the claim and salted the ground afterwards.
