John McCain Diagnosed With Brain Cancer

McCain must have been a true moderate because both the extreme left and right are out with venom.

I would never call McCain a moderate. Not sure what I would call him. Most of what he believed in I don't. But he was a gentleman. He was a patriot. Not the moron who waves the flag and is clueless about what the flag stands for. He knew. During the 2008 campaign when a supporter said directly to him that Obama was a Muslim traitor He stopped that person and said they were wrong. That Obama was a good family man.

He never felt that we should stoop to the level that Trump seems to occupy 24x7.

I would never ever ever vote for him. But I do respect him.

The USA lost a honourable man, a patriot, a true politician, one of the most decent Republicans in the last years. My condolences for the redemptive opportunities that were lost with his passing, something that his beloved country is so much in need today.

I would have voted for McCain over Trump or most any other Republican they've ever run for President any day of the week.

Trump continues his petty, vindictive, childish behavior by saying nothing more about McCain's passing other than his 21 word standard platitude tweet. Word is that he nixed an official WH statement calling McCain a hero and praising his service to the country.

If anything, they'll be silently dissatisfied that he is not as petty and vindictive as they are themselves. At least one Trump supporter here has said worse, and you can multiply that by thousands of comment's from Trump supporters that I have seen online. They cannot stand that a Republican of principle would bad mouth their hero and their nonsense theories.

Kinda hard to restore the integrity of the institutions of government once you start greenligting military strikes on elected officials.

And can you imagine the kind of soldiers who would sign up for such a mission? If the military wanted Trump gone, it wouldn't be from the left.

Do you really want to live in a country ruled by a military that's willing to assassinate elected officials?

I'm joking. As much as I want the cretin gone I don't want him to be assassinated. I want him arrested and taken away in shackles.
