Cont: Brilliant Light Power Going To Market - Free Energy Generator Part 3

Wait, so the entire apparatus is made of "just silver and water"? That would be a very silly claim. Why Mills feels the need to burn up spot welding equipment (made of stuff other than "just silver and water"), I'll leave to him, his psychoanalyst, bankers, accountants, employees and apologists.

Or how about you get a little more scientific and ask what controls were run? Like what happens if it is just silver and no water? Answer: No exothermic reaction, no high energy light, no hydrino product, just the expected resistive load.

How about you call up your ten closest scientist friends, preferably chemist, physicist, materials scientist, nuclear scientist, etc, and ask them if they have heard of Mills and his theory. Nine out of ten will say they haven't. There is too much going on even within their specialty to be concerned with what would be considered the fringe.

Many of my scientist friends are right here on this thread and "have heard of Mills and his theory". Heck, most of my friends just in general have interest in this very kind of "fringe" stuff. So I might present a skewed sample space.

Ah, so an oxidation catalyst (the silver) but no oxidizing agent (the water). Why don't you and Mill's "get a little more scientific"? No wonder they're having some much trouble. Be my guest markie, make Mills look as silly as you can.

On page 24 you will see the names of some of the different labs used to do NMR spectroscopy on the crystals.

Which is a total ******** answer. Anyone can hire a lab to analyze crystals. That wasn't what asked for and you know it.

How about you pressure Mills to actually produce a functional working product. How many years do you want to be screaming it going to work when it never does?

Product, product, product.

Every thing else is just support for a scam.

Mills welcomes attempts at replication. The more prestigious the lab the better. Know anyone at a lab who might be interested? Point them in BLP's direction and they can communicate with Mills themselves.

Why would they need to"communicate with Mills themselves"? Unless it isn't "highly reproducible" as intended, or just asserted, or it's Mill's that needs to "communicate with" them for some other reason. Like say threats of lawsuits or a NDA for those "attempts at replication". Here I thought catalyst without oxidizer was getting overly silly.

If it is not silver oxidizing, then what is it?
Not oxidising.

There is no conventional answer.
Why would "conventional science" even attempt to answer a borked question? Science does not spend a bucket of time investigating unicorns either.

It's just silver and water.
And?

There is no conventional answer to what is producing the eUV and soft X-rays.
There is no reason to believe that ever happened.

There is no conventional answer for the huge exothermic nature of the reaction.
Nor that.

There is no conventional answer for the dihydrino signature measured in multiple ways.
Nor that either.

"Because I say so" is only evidence for anything on planet sausage. I believe they have quite lenient immigration policies.

Doesn't everyone know that silver does not oxidise? Silver clearly never oxidises unless subjected to two and a half thousand degrees, right? Everybody knows that, right?

Bloody hell.

It's kind of a catch 22, abaddon. If stupid were all it took to produce hydrinos, as Mills assertions indicate, Mills theories would be sufficient and he would have had the dang thing working decades ago. However, in working that would make Mills theories apparently less stupid and thereby diminish its ability to produce hydrinos and hydrino power. Kind of damned if you do and damned if you don't, which must be why Mills is apparently searching for just the right flavor of stupid. Too little stupid and the thing just limps along not of much use. Too much stupid and it eats itself up, to failure, in seconds.

There are two conventional answers:
1. Mills is lying
2. Mills is being fooled.

There is good evidence for both possibilities. Perhaps the answer is a bit of both. Your identification with Mills and his experiments does not serve your credibility well. You can't know how thoroughly Mills is pursuing alternative explanations. You can't know what Mills is intentionally not revealing. You do know that Mills has wildly overstated the readiness of his inventions for productization. You do know that Mills has relied on a buddy for questionable work done at Rowan University instead of seeking out independent researchers to work with.

Seriously? He has actual hydrinos? Why doesn't he send them to a truly independent lab? Book ticket to Stockholm, collect $1m.
He has Jack ****, and you know it. As I believe somebody (possibly Michio Kaku) said - to paraphrase: "All this shows is how easily fools are parted from their money." Or words to that effect.
The fact that he's kept this scam going for nigh on three decades is pretty impressive stuff, given that he has produced the square root of zero in all that time. Fair play to the bloke. One of the better con artists. Just stop pretending that what he is doing has any relationship to science.

According to google Oxidation of silver is a technique that jewelers use to tarnish their products for aesthetics. Do they do that at 2000 degrees?

A small data point: I’ve mentioned Mills’ ideas about dark matter to some (none are chemists or materials scientists), and they all think those ideas are hilarious, crackpot nonsense, or otherwise not worth spending any time on (other than for entertainment).

But we’ve covered this before: produce a commercial product, one that actually works, and we can resume a discussion on Mills’ ideas; until then, stop digging.

For starters you could look at what Mills and co published in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy in 2001.

Identification of Compounds Containing Novel Hydride Ions by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy

http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.20.8498&rep=rep1&type=pdf

OK closer, but Mills wrote that.
Where are the independent laboratory confirmations on the crystals he sent them??

Well yeah that part is obvious to all of us here at ISF. But don't forget that the machines are burning up, melting down, vaporizing and exploding too! Who knows how much additional metals and of what type are being added to the mix too? And open air bringing in nitrogen oxygen hydrogen carbon and any number of other trace elements and compounds to add to the mix. None of these are accounted for in Mills' calculations. He literally treats it as if it is isolated properly, while never isolating it at all!:covereyes

Then to top it all off he incorrectly calls this failure the need to "close the system" and people like Markie who believe in magical over-unity machines jump all over it!:jaw-dropp

In all fairness, people like Markie don't understand the science involved. So I wouldn't be too hard on him/ them. Ignorance is always useful when one is flogging a scam. Eh? Ask Mills. Kunze et al can tell you why Mills is selling a pup. These people just don't want to hear it. They have some sort of religious belief in this garbage. It's a bit sad, really. However, it has been seen many times before. Que sera......

Citation needed.

Peer reviewed if possible.

Why would they need to communicate with Mills in order to replicate his work?

Well I just stopped in to remark that again, the staying power of this scam is impressive. It seems to me it must be in the record books for duration.

You have financial scams that have gone for almost 50 years like in the case of Madoff, with $65 Billion in fraud. So this is is a ways back on the all-time greats list.

But it has been over a quarter century and tens of millions. That's amazing enough.
