"I am looking into 3-D Plastic Guns being sold to the public. Already spoke to NRA, doesn’t seem to make much sense!"

Talking about not making sense, how about that Tweet ?

Is there such a thing as a non 3-D gun ? A 2-D gun doesn't present much of a threat except from a paper cut and I'm not even sure what a 1-D of 4-D gun could even be.

I suppose he means 3-D printed gun.

Also, is he suggesting that during his conversation with the NRA, he didn't make sense or that they didn't make much sense ?

I suppose he means that the idea of selling 3-D printed guns to the public doesn't make much sense but in that case I don't understand what about it doesn't make sense.

The man is effectively unintelligible :(

"The Fake News Media is going CRAZY! They are totally unhinged and in many ways, after witnessing first hand the damage they do to so many innocent and decent people, I enjoy watching. In 7 years, when I am no longer in office, their ratings will dry up and they will be gone!"

I predict that tonight's unhinged rally rant in Florida will be epic.

He enjoys watching damage being done to innocent people?

Talk about unhinged...

I came to post this.

What the hell is he blathering on about?

....and that's earners. The rest will go to people who have a lot of assets but who don't happen to draw income from them.

It really is a shameful way to concentrate wealth in the hands of the few, but the US electorate seem to like that kind of thing because even if they are currently poor, they don't want to be taxed on their wealth when they inevitably become wealthy.

Speaking of which:
The disconnect between the corporate news media’s reporting about the “great American economy” and the actual circumstances of the American people grows by the day. It just underscores what great lengths vulture capitalists will go to keep a status quo in place that further enriches themselves at the expense of the health of the nation and the planet itself.
.....
And so America remains a part-time nation where the average work week, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, is 34.5 hours. Meanwhile, MarketWatch reported earlier this year that only 39 percent of Americans said they had sufficient resources to a pay for a $1,000 Emergency Room visit, with 44 percent admitting that they could not cover a similar $400 surprise expenditure.

An interesting opinion piece.

Trump sounds normal in private. It's all an act.

CNN: https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/25/opinions/michael-cohen-donald-trump-tape-strategy-zelizer/

(CNN) Reading anything into a short, grainy tape recording is difficult. But from the moment that CNN's Chris Cuomo shared one of the Michael Cohen tapes, experts have sliced and diced the audio to figure out exactly what then-candidate Donald Trump knew about a payment to keep his alleged affair with former Playboy playmate Karen McDougal off the front pages.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the tape is just how normal Trump sounds when the cameras are not on. He carries on his conversation with one unnamed person (likely on the phone), as well as with his lawyer Michael Cohen, in a relatively controlled and deliberative voice. This is not the same Trump who we heard and still hear speaking in half-sentences. Nor is it the Trump who continually tosses out statements made on Fox News to his audiences, simply to stir up the base.

No, on this tape we hear a little bit of a methodical and controlled candidate who is trying to figure out how to handle a potential problem in his campaign -- how to kill an embarrassing story. He listens, absorbs and responds. He knows what is going on, and he wants a workable plan.

I think it's a conflation of several things

  • The #FakeNews media has said some mean (but likely true) things about people in the Trump Administration - which has damaged those people President Trump
  • Donald Trump believes that without him to support their ratings, when he stops being President after two full terms the #FakeNews media outlets will fold
  • He likes watching the damaging reports because they are so obviously fake

or at least I think it is.

This should get interesting

On point from the article is wrong for definite:

....It will be many decades until we know the truth about how Trump acts behind the scenes. Until we have the archival records from his administration and reliable memoirs of his White House, our interpretation of how he operated will depend on a few fragments of evidence....

Trump is doing his best to make sure no such records will survive.

"I don’t care what the political ramifications are, our immigration laws and border security have been a complete and total disaster for decades, and there is no way that the Democrats will allow it to be fixed without a Government Shutdown..."

"...Border Security is National Security, and National Security is the long-term viability of our Country. A Government Shutdown is a very small price to pay for a safe and Prosperous America!"
