Hey don't rock the boat. The more he's focused on piddling personal matters the less damage he can do.

As someone pointed out on Twitter. The only way his hard core supporters will desert him is if he turns out to be black!
They don't get to claim victory. You don't reward an arsonist for putting out a fire he started.

Yes, I feel sorry for Facebook having to try to separate Republicans from Russian agents based only on what they post.
Trump Tweets
"Twitter “SHADOW BANNING” prominent Republicans. Not good. We will look into this discriminatory and illegal practice at once! Many complaints."
"The United States will impose large sanctions on Turkey for their long time detainment of Pastor Andrew Brunson, a great Christian, family man and wonderful human being. He is suffering greatly. This innocent man of faith should be released immediately!"
(who seem to have a glitch in their software, a glitch related to Russian spam-bots, a problem that Trump should be working on fixing.)
I'd say its closer to 0%, and he'll retain pretty much all of the support that he currently gets from the Christian right-wing.Here's one that I sometimes wonder about: suppose there comes a revelation that he paid for a mistress to have an abortion.
...
We already know that paying to silence a mistress costs him nothing. If we find out he paid for one to have an abortion, how far does it go? What's the over/under on the hit he takes among evangelicals? 20%?

Evangelicals are known for their hypocrisy, double standards, and outright immoral actions and attitudes. If its found that Trump paid for an abortion, they will say something like "It was in the past but now he's a changed man", or "We're giving him another mulligan". Or "Whatabout Clinton".

I agree about the hypocrisy of Evangelical Trump supporters, but I would not blanket say all Evangelicals are Trump supporters. In face, the Evnagleical movement is dividing between the hard liners and those with a more moderate outlook. Quite a bit is being written about that.
As for being hypocritacl and double standards, hell, that applies to every relgion..strike that, any organization made up of human beings.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Former White House aide and reality television star Omarosa Manigault Newman will chronicle her time in U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration in a memoir to be released Aug. 14, her publisher said Thursday.
Well, of course. Those things are immoral and an affront to god. Unlike assaulting women or being subservient to another country.
I think you can find that particular passage in the bible. Look under Two-Corinthians.
Reports the "Deal" with the EU is already in trouble over farm subsidies.
Why am I so not surprised.
True, technically not all evangelical Christians are Trump supporters. But the vast majority are. (Especially among white evangelicals.) Evangelicals who oppose Trump are a relatively small minority.Re: Evangelical support if found Trump paid for an abortion...

Yes, hypocrisy is certainly common across religions and in other organizations. The difference is:As for being hypocritacl and double standards, hell, that applies to every relgion..strike that, any organization made up of human beings.

Yes, hypocrisy is certainly common across religions and in other organizations. The difference is:
- Evangelicals elevate the hypocrisy to a whole new level
- Evangelicals (as a voting block) are more influential than other organizations
